The Most Unique Casinos in the Americas
There are hundreds of casinos across the Americas and this number is growing all of the time. These include many of the establishments you’re probably already familiar with, as well as a few that you’re definitely not. In this article, we’ll look at the latter.
The Palazzo, Las Vegas, USA
Whether you’re looking for a Caesar’s casino promo code to sample a famous casino’s hospitality or something more unique, the US is the best place for land-based gambling in the Americas. There are a few big options to choose from here, but the Palazzo is one of the most interesting.
It’s a classy casino that’s attached to the Venetian and it offers all of the style, glitz, and glamor that you would expect from this famous Sin City destination.
Mobile gambling is available if you don’t want to leave your home and there are also some great restaurants and bars here, as well as a pool. What more could you ask for?
Monticello Grand Casino, Chile
The Monticello Grand Casino is located in San Francisco de Mostazal, Santiago, and is Chile’s best casino. It’s also one of the most popular casinos in South America.
There are stacks of gambling tables, slots, and sports books, providing the perfect blend of games to suit both new and experienced gamblers. Play some poker, spin some slots, or enjoy a few cocktails as you play a few games of blackjack.
City Center Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina
This award-winning casino is one of the biggest in the Americas and can even rival the mega-casinos in Las Vegas. There are over 3,000 slots, and you’ll also find dozens of table games. You can even play a few games of bingo in the casino’s massive bingo hall.
If you spend the night here, you’ll be wined and dined in 5-star luxury. The City Center Rosario is a vacation destination that you won’t forget in a hurry.
Hideaway at Royalton Riviera Cancun, Mexico
The Hideaway is one of the best casinos in Mexico. It’s also one of the most accessible, as it’s located near Cancun Airport. It’s lively, elegant, and offers games of poker, roulette, blackjack, baccarat, and more. Stop by for a bite to eat, some great cocktails, and a game or two.
Casino Niagara, Ontario
As the name suggests, the Casino Niagara is located next to the famous waterfall. It’s a casino resort with lots of hotel rooms and a massive gaming floor. If you’re staying in one of its many rooms, you can enjoy views of the amazing Niagara Falls. If not, don’t worry, as the epic waterfall is just a stone’s throw from the resort.
Veneto, Via Espana, Panama
Veneto is located close to the beaches and is a great destination for your luxurious Central American vacation. It is a huge casino that offers sports betting, table games, poker, and slots. It’s owned by Wyndham, so you know that you’re getting a clean, comfortable, stylish, and sizeable casino.
The Veneto spans a total of 17 stories and features 301 rooms and suites, in addition to all of the usual amenities and entertainment options you’d expect from a luxury casino resort.

Be #GiftSmart: Scratch the Idea of Gifting Scratch & Win Tickets to Kids
BCLC reminds adults to gift responsibly this holiday season
With the holiday season in full swing, BCLC is reminding British Columbians to gift responsibly and scratch lottery products from their shopping lists for kids.
“Scratch & Win tickets can make great stocking stuffers for the adults in your life, but they’re not for kids,” said Ryan McCarthy, BCLC’s Director of Player Health. “The research shows that children who have early encounters with gambling are four times more likely to develop riskier gambling behaviour as they grow up. While people are out shopping for those last-minute gifts, BCLC wants adults to be aware of the potential risks associated with gifting lottery products to children and to consider safer alternatives.”
While Scratch & Win tickets are among the most common ways kids can be introduced to gambling, children are increasingly exposed to various online forms, such as gambling streams.
“With the convergence of gaming and gambling, youth are becoming more exposed to gambling content in online spaces like streaming sites, where creators are able to live-stream their own gambling, usually while playing online slots and instant games,” said Dr. Luke Clark, Director for Gambling Research at UBC. “Our research at the UBC Centre for Gambling shows that a higher frequency of watching online gambling streams is associated with a more positive attitude towards gambling and a high intention to gamble in the future.”
In B.C., it is illegal to sell lottery products to anyone under the age of 19 and BCLC encourages adults to have conversations with the kids in their lives about the risks associated with gambling.
“Open and honest conversations are crucial when it comes to navigating childhood exposure to gambling,” said McCarthy, who shared the following tips to adults:
- Monitor for gambling-related lifestyle changes. For example, developing a positive attitude towards gambling or a preoccupation with video games or streaming sites.
- Be a positive role model. Exhibit safer gambling behaviour and talk about the risks.
- Limit exposure. Monitor kids’ online activities and discourage engagement with gambling content. Explain how gambling is based on chance.
