Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana Becomes Naming Rights Sponsor of White Sox Radio Network
Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana has signed a partnership with ESPN 1000 to become the new naming rights sponsor of the White Sox Radio Network.
The multi-year agreement will officially begin next month, and will continue into the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana will become the exclusive naming rights sponsor for all White Sox spring training, regular season, and post-season games on ESPN 1000, as well as receiving daily exposure during ESPN 1000 national and local programming.
“Partnering with the Chicago White Sox late last year was monumental for ESPN Chicago! Now, to partner with Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana to present the naming rights of the White Sox Network to White Sox fans throughout Illinois, Indiana and Iowa is remarkable,” Mike Thomas, Market Manager of ESPN Chicago, said.
“I want to thank Matt Schuffert and Joe Branchik and the Hard Rock team! I can’t wait to hear Len Kasper say: ‘The ESPN 1000 Hard Rock Casino White Sox Network’ each game for years to come.”
ESPN 1000 was previously the exclusive radio partner of the Chicago White Sox from 1999 to 2005. The new deal will allow fans to listen to The ESPN 1000 Hard Rock Casino White Sox Network via ESPN 1000, 100.3HD2, and the ESPN Chicago App.
“I’m confident that Hard Rock Casino, combining forces with ESPN and the talented Chicago White Sox team, will provide a winning hand for everyone involved,” Joe Branchik, VP of Marketing at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, said.

PointsBet Canada to Contest Proposed 5-Day Suspension by AGCO
PointsBet Canada confirmed it will request a hearing before the independent Licence Appeal Tribunal to contest the Notice of Proposed Order issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) on February 12, 2026, proposing a five-day suspension of its operator registration.
PointsBet claims that the proposed sanction overemphasized an isolated incident that was a result of human error, not a systemic issue. The company also said that it did not intentionally withhold information from gaming regulators, and it immediately sent the necessary information once it was discovered.
The operator, which launched in Ontario in April 2022, also said that it cooperated fully with the AGCO’s investigation.
“We have a strong compliance record in Ontario and remain fully committed to the highest standards of integrity and player protection. We look forward to presenting our case at the Tribunal,” said Scott Vanderwel, PointsBet Canada Chief Executive Officer.
