T-Wolves Gaming – the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves – defeated 76ers GC 2-0 in the three-game series to win THE TIPOFF powered by AT&T for the second consecutive year. T-Wolves Gaming defeated Mavs Gaming and Lakers Gaming in the quarterfinals and semifinals of THE TIPOFF powered by AT&T.
Center Malik “Slaughter” Leisinger was named THE TIPOFF powered by AT&T tournament MVP after averaging 20.2 points, 12.5 rebounds and shooting 85% from the field across the tournament. Point guard Michael “BearDaBeast” Key added 20.3 points and 8.2 assists.

THE TIPOFF powered by AT&T is the first of three in-season 5v5 tournaments (THE TIPOFF, THE TURN and THE TICKET) that are part of THE BANNER CHAIN powered by AT&T. THE TIPOFF featured all 24 NBA 2K League teams and began with two weeks of remote group play (Tuesday, April 5 – Friday, April 8; Tuesday, April 12 – Friday, April 15) followed by bracket play that took place at the NBA 2K League Studio in Indianapolis from April 20 – 23.
