Kambi secures double EGR B2B Awards win

udges commend “impressive product innovation and strong new client wins” as Kambi wins Sports Betting Supplier category and retains Sportsbook Platform Provider crown
Kambi was named both Sportsbook Platform Provider and Sports Betting Supplier of the year at the prestigious EGR B2B Awards in last week’s virtual ceremony held over three days.
The awards recognise the highest performing companies which power the betting and gaming industry, with Kambi taking home the event’s headline sports betting prizes.
Recognising Kambi’s “impressive commercial and financial success”, alongside “high stability, scalability and focus on pricing”, the judges found the Kambi platform to be “geared up for the best in class”.
Kambi scored highly across all key criteria in the two categories, including commercial success, product development & delivery, innovation, UX/UI and back office/reporting.
The provider secured a number of key milestones throughout the judging period, adding to its series of US market firsts in states including Colorado, Michigan and Illinois, signing new partners including Penn National Gaming, Seneca Gaming Corporation and BetWarrior and becoming the first sports betting technology provider to attain membership of the International Betting Integrity Association.
Kambi also continued to refine and enhance its sportsbook with the launch of the Kambi Multi Builder, as well as its unique Bring Your Own Device technology.

Gamban has started providing services in Finnish language.
Gambling is deeply embedded in Finnish culture, and while there are efforts to curb the harms arising from it, many still struggle to find practical tools. By adding Finnish, Gamban is ensuring that more people can take control of their gambling habits without language barriers standing in the way.
âLanguage should never be a barrier to accessing help. By introducing Finnish to Gamban, weâre ensuring that more people in Finland can access the tools they need. We hope this update makes the process of blocking gambling on devices more intuitive and effective,â Jack Symons, CEO of Gamban, said.
In Finland, Gamban is partnered with Veikkaus, the government owned betting agency which currently holds a monopoly in the country. Through this partnership fully paid for Gamban licences are distributed free of charge to customers.
âVeikkaus has built a comprehensive and unique safer gambling environment for our customers, and Gamban is an additional service to those who want to make a self-exclusion to all Veikkaus games. Itâs also offered to customers with signs of risky behaviour when they are contacted through care calls. Gamban has been a really helpful service, and we are happy that itâs now available in Finnish,â said Susanna Saikkonen, VP Sustainability at Veikkaus.
