Betsson Becomes Main Partner of the BNP Paribas Nordic Open

Betsson, a leading global sports betting and gaming operator, announced its partnership as the main sponsor of the BNP Paribas Nordic Open – the largest tennis tournament in the Nordics and the oldest indoor tournament in the world. Betsson’s previous tennis engagements include having former player Jonas Björkman as an ambassador and sponsoring ATP tournaments in Latin America.

The Stockholm Open (its former name) was founded in 1969 and has, over the years, hosted players such as John McEnroe, Björn Borg, Ivan Lendl and Roger Federer. This year’s competition will be broadcast on public TV starting October 12. As part of the sponsorship, Betsson will have a prominent presence during the matches, organise on-site activities and offer betting odds on all matches.

We have sponsored ATP tournaments before, but it feels extra special to do so in Sweden, where the company was founded over 60 years ago, just before the first Stockholm Open. Betsson’s sponsorship portfolio extends globally, with a strong presence in various sports and football clubs. Betsson supports several football clubs in Italy, is the name sponsor of the Greek Cup in football, and is the main jersey sponsor of Boca Juniors, Racing de Avellaneda and Atlético Nacional.

The BNP Paribas Nordic Open will take place from October 12 to 20, 2024, at the Royal Tennis Hall in Stockholm.

Peter & Sons has partnered with Relum to expand distribution for its slots portfolio through Relum’s aggregation platform.

Evoplay has signed a distribution deal with bet365 to launch a selection of its casino titles on the operator’s Brazilian platform.

The rollout begins with titles including Hot Triple Sevens and Temple of Thunder II Bonus Buy, with more games planned to follow.

Hub88 has launched My Products, a new feature inside its HubConnect Operator Zone aimed at simplifying how casino operators configure and activate their content portfolios.

The company said My Products provides a single dashboard where operators can view their product catalogue, track enablement status, configure preferences and bulk-enable games without leaving HubConnect.

For new title launches, Hub88 said partners can select one or more products, choose their preferred RTP and exposure settings, assign titles to brands or environments, and submit a single request. Requests are then routed automatically to technical teams with the required details, according to the company.

The feature also includes advanced filtering to view availability across brands and markets, and highlights contracted but inactive content to help operators identify portfolio gaps.
