Betinia‘s strong performance in the key Nordic markets of Sweden and Denmark has been rewarded by a raft of shortlist nominations and awards.

Standing out in the iGaming industry is no easy task, but Soft2Bet has successfully done this with its Betinia brand in Scandinavia.

Betinia is a B2C website that is operated by Soft2Bet in Denmark and Sweden and its success is a demonstration of how suppliers and operators can provide players with a truly differentiated, gamified offering that also generates strong commercial growth.

Its growth was powered by Soft2Bet’s Motivational Engineering Gaming Application (MEGA) gamification features.

These led to:

  • +65% increase in average GGR compared to non-gamified brands, with 60% of players participating;
  • More than 50% of the Betinia player base engaged with gamification, with 50% of them depositing larger amounts and frequency of deposits at +30%;
  • average revenue per user (ARPU) grew by more than 70%.

Industry recognition

These achievements have been recognised by industry peers, with Soft2Bet shortlisted and winning numerous awards in recent months such as ‘Company of the Year’ and ‘Turnkey Supplier of the Year’ at the iGaming Sword Awards.

Commenting on the iGaming Sword Awards, Yoel Zuckerberg, Chief Product Officer at Soft2Bet, said: “Being honored with The iGaming Sword Awards is a testament to the quality of our platform and solutions business. It reflects our commitment to providing top-notch products that are dependable, secure, and perform exceptionally in all situations for our partners. As we persistently pursue excellence, we look forward to our ongoing efforts being acknowledged by our peers throughout 2024”.

Soft2Bet was also shortlisted in the Vixio Global Regulatory Awards, in five categories of the EGR Nordics Awards and for the International Gaming Awards and Casino Guru Awards.

Elisabeth Isaksson, Head of Compliance at Soft2Bet, commented: “The be shortlisted in five categories of the EGR Nordics Awards and for the Vixio Global Regulatory Awards is further proof of Soft2Bet’s achievements in highly competitive and regulated markets. Sweden and Denmark are key European markets and it’s incredibly rewarding to see our commercial and compliance work recognised in this way. As we look forward to 2024, Soft2Bet will continue to develop its business with sustainability and compliance as pillars of its growth.”

Oksana Tyshankova, Chief Marketing Officer at Soft2Bet,  added: “The industry awards and shortlist nominations are recognition of the incredible work our teams have done this year. Managing strong commercial growth with new staff onboarding, product updates and delivery and market launches for our partners is one of the hardest balancing acts to achieve in business. It’s a proud moment for Soft2Bet and it makes us even more enthusiastic for the coming months as we look forward to 2024.”

GR8_TECH said its branded podcast Bet It Drives has been named a Bronze Honoree at the 18th Annual Shorty Awards in the Branded Podcast category.

The company positions Bet It Drives as a non-studio format that puts guests in a moving car for unscripted conversations. According to GR8_TECH, episodes have been filmed across London, Lisbon, Rome, and Barcelona, with guests including Clarion Gaming MD Alex Pratt, SBC founder Rasmus Sojmark, and SiGMA founder Eman Pulis.

GR8_TECH said the show, now complete across four seasons, has surpassed 2 million YouTube views and generated 280+ media publications.

“Bet It Drives was built to challenge the safe, predictable way our industry tells stories. We wanted conversations with personality, tension, and exceptional insight. The Shorty Awards recognition proves that audiences are looking for content that’s bold, genuine, and impossible to ignore,” said Yevhen Krazhan, Bet It Drives host and GR8_TECH’s CSO.

“This year’s winners didn’t just chase views and clicks; they used digital as a bridge to genuine human connection,” said Junmian Sun, Managing Director of the Shorty Awards. “We’ve entered a new era where digital is no longer about rented platforms, but owned ecosystems. The most successful work we are celebrating today succeeded because it built spaces where audiences feel noticed and understood, rather than just targeted.” Winners are selected by the Shorty Awards’ Real Time Academy, the awards said.

Groove has been named a finalist for Best Aggregator 2026 at the SiGMA Asia Awards, with the ceremony scheduled for 2 June 2026 at the SMX Convention Centre Manila during the SiGMA Asia Summit.

The shortlist was announced by Global Gaming Insider, according to the company. Groove said its platform aggregates more than 15,000 games from over 150 providers via a single API.

Giusy Campo, Business Development Director at Groove, said: “This shortlist is external recognition of a truth we already feel internally: Groove is moving at a different pace. Asia is not a single market, it is a collection of distinct regulatory environments, player behaviours, and partnership opportunities”

Campo added: “Our platform is built to respect that complexity, not smooth it over. Being named a finalist for Best Aggregator tells us that our approach; deep integration, localised content strategies, and commercial precision; is resonating with the operators who matter most in this region. We are not just bringing games to Asia. We are bringing a roadmap for sustainable growth.”

Yahale Meltzer, Co-Founder and CEO of Groove, said: “The aggregation space is crowded. Differentiation is everything. This nomination confirms that our vision, transforming aggregation from a commodity into a strategic growth discipline, is taking hold.” He added: “Operators across Asia are no longer asking for just volume or speed. They are asking for structural resilience, data intelligence, and a partner who can execute across fragmented regulatory landscapes with precision. Groove delivers that. To be recognised alongside the best in Asia is a privilege, but the real work continues in Manila and beyond. We are here to win, not just awards, but the trust of the operators who build their businesses on our platform.”
