Compliable launches Key Licensing Module and readies for Ohio
Start-up announces new tool for effective operation in US market
Licensing expert Compliable has launched its Key Licensing Module, further enhancing its customers’ ability to manage all the required licenses needed to operate in the US market.
The company’s new module expands the capabilities of Compliable’s Licensing Platform, which already offers robust and patent pending features and functionality. It enables decision making executives to easily and through a streamlined and simplified system manage their key licenses, which are required by all jurisdictions in the US.
The new module offers the highest levels of privacy and security and gives key licensee applicants complete control over who can view and assist with completing essential forms. It dramatically reduces the time and effort required to complete these licenses, and helps operators and suppliers enter new states faster.
This comes at an opportune moment, as Ohio publishes its first drafts on key license forms. Compliable is offering their platform to any companies interested in expanding into Ohio at no cost prior to launch. Customers taking advantage of this offer will be ready to submit its forms on opening day.
Chris Oltyan, CEO of Compliable, said: “We are thrilled to introduce this Key Licensing Module to the industry. Compliable is already at the forefront of compliance and licensing in the US, and this module rounds out our platform to cover all the required licenses that operators need to stay compliant.
“We look forward to continuing to build out our feature set and being the premier technology provider for licensing compliance in the gaming space. We hope that Ohio sets the stage clearly and demonstrates how much faster and efficiently new state launches can go with the right technology partners.”
Justin Stempeck, Chief Strategy Officer at Compliable, added: “Compliable continues to find effective solutions to the licensing challenges faced by all operators, suppliers and vendors in the US. The key licensing module is the latest arrow in our quiver and we are sure it will prove very useful for companies in this fast growing market.”

Media Troopers reports early lift in Alberta after market launch
Media Troopers says it is seeing early signs of increased engagement after the first week of operations in Alberta’s newly regulated online gambling market, which launched on July 13.
The company said it supported marketing campaigns with six partner operators in the first week, and reported a rise in first-time registrations and depositors across its verticals. Media Troopers added that it is rolling out a phased launch strategy and is now onboarding nine additional operators.
“As with every new market, we are implementing in Alberta phased launch that enables us to carefully optimize in real time our advertising channels and marketing campaigns,” said Shmulik Segal, CEO at Media Troopers.
Media Troopers pointed to its established presence in Ontario as a reference point for Alberta’s long-term potential. The company cited iGaming Ontario figures showing total wagers in Ontario peaked at $82.7 billion and total gaming revenue reached $2.9 billion in the 24-25 fiscal year, up 32% and 31% year-over-year, respectively.
“Given the launch corresponded with the final stages of the FIFA World Cup, we are seeing encouraging results so far. However, as with any new market, the real challenge will be sustaining growth after the initial buzz. Still, early signs show promise,” Segal added.

Media Troopers reports early traction in Alberta after regulated market launch
Media Troopers said it is seeing promising early performance after the first week of operations in Alberta’s newly regulated online gambling market, which launched on July 13.
Alberta’s launch makes it Canada’s second competitive regulated market after Ontario, which opened in 2022. Media Troopers said Alberta’s framework creates a new opportunity for operators and suppliers targeting local players through regulated channels.
The company said it supported various marketing campaigns with six partner operators during the market’s first week, reporting increased engagement across verticals, including a rise in first-time registrations and depositors. Media Troopers added that it is taking a gradual approach to launching in the province and is in the process of onboarding nine additional operators.
“As with every new market, we are implementing in Alberta phased launch that enables us to carefully optimize in real time our advertising channels and marketing campaigns,” said Shmulik Segal, CEO at Media Troopers.
Media Troopers pointed to its Ontario experience as a benchmark for Alberta’s potential. According to figures published by iGaming Ontario, total wagers in the province peaked at $82.7 billion while total gaming revenue totaled $2.9 billion for the 24-25 fiscal year, a rise of 32% and 31% year-over-year, respectively. “Given the launch corresponded with the final stages of the FIFA World Cup, we are seeing encouraging results so far. However, as with any new market, the real challenge will be sustaining growth after the initial buzz. Still, early signs show promise,” Segal added.
