Casumo brings Neccton on board

Malta-based online casino recognises the benefits of enhanced player protection – while keeping ahead of regulatory requirements
As one of the gaming industry’s leading online names, Casumo is held to an even higher level of expectation when it comes to regulatory matters. The company has acknowledged the need for expert assistance when it comes to player protection and as such, they are now working with Neccton and will be using the market-leading mentor player protection software going forward.
Casumo’s players will now be supported by mentor‘s AI-based solution that analyses player behaviour in real-time. The software recognises possible problematic behaviour and works to help both player and operator to identify and address the issue.
mentor is a ground-breaking player tracking tool which alerts the operator and contacts players who display critical behaviour directly. For example, players are informed when their deposit frequency is increasing significantly, and helps customers make better informed decisions about their play with individualised feedback.
Dr. Michael Auer, Director and Head of Development at Neccton, said: “We are delighted to welcome Casumo on board! We already work with so many of the world’s biggest gaming companies who recognise that our approach and our expertise is unique. We’re really excited to be bringing our value to the Casumo brand, and to helping their customers to play responsibly.”
Benjamin Pule, Head of Regulatory Compliance at Casumo, commented: “We’re really pleased to be partnering with Neccton as we continue to focus our efforts on responsible gaming. Casumo is constantly striving to provide the best possible customer experience in a safe environment, the mentor player protection software will allow us to reinforce this and proactively support our players.”

Gamban Begins Providing Gambling Support Services in Finnish

Gamban has started providing services in Finnish language.
Gambling is deeply embedded in Finnish culture, and while there are efforts to curb the harms arising from it, many still struggle to find practical tools. By adding Finnish, Gamban is ensuring that more people can take control of their gambling habits without language barriers standing in the way.
“Language should never be a barrier to accessing help. By introducing Finnish to Gamban, we’re ensuring that more people in Finland can access the tools they need. We hope this update makes the process of blocking gambling on devices more intuitive and effective,” Jack Symons, CEO of Gamban, said.
In Finland, Gamban is partnered with Veikkaus, the government owned betting agency which currently holds a monopoly in the country. Through this partnership fully paid for Gamban licences are distributed free of charge to customers.
“Veikkaus has built a comprehensive and unique safer gambling environment for our customers, and Gamban is an additional service to those who want to make a self-exclusion to all Veikkaus games. It’s also offered to customers with signs of risky behaviour when they are contacted through care calls. Gamban has been a really helpful service, and we are happy that it’s now available in Finnish,” said Susanna Saikkonen, VP Sustainability at Veikkaus.
