A new section of the STS office in Katowice is an industrial gem with a sporty character
Changing the usability of the warehouse into a modern office space, referring in style and character to the main areas of the company’s activity — this is the task STS set for Tétris. The works concerned the interior design and comprehensive modernisation, along with refreshing the façade of the entire STS headquarters in Katowice.
– Converting a warehouse into an office is a non-standard and exciting undertaking. From the executive side, there are many administrative procedures and processes to consider. An experienced team and proven subcontractors are key. STS had high expectations in terms of aesthetics, interior design and cost optimisation of the entire investment. We have prepared a concept changing the functional layout of the building. It was appreciated by the client, and the end result is very impressive – says Tomasz Spalik, Development Director at Tétris.
The Design x Build Tétris team was involved in the project. The designers used the industrial atmosphere of the warehouse in the interior. You can see steel structures, heavy barriers on the mezzanine, and a reinforced concrete ceiling in the conference room. These strong features are complemented by the subject with which STS is strongly associated – i.e. sport. On the walls, we can admire a mural with Diego Maradona and a mural with sketches of sports shoes. There are also a lot of green plants that increase the comfort of working there.
– We wanted it to be a place consistent with a sporty character, and at the same time modern, functional and comfortable. The Tétris company has successfully completed the project of our office in Warsaw in the past, which is why we decided to cooperate again. I am glad that once again, we have been offered a fresh, unconventional concept, which allowed us to achieve an effect that perfectly fits the style of our company and the nature of the facility. We have gained a modern workplace that effectively strengthens the image of STS as an attractive employer – explains Marcin Walczysko, member of the STS management board.
Thanks to the appropriate height of the room, the architects could propose an element that would increase the space and emphasise the industrial character of the building — the mezzanine. In this way, more workspace has been created, and the comfort of employees has been improved. As a result, an office with an area of 540m2 was created, with approximately 60 workstations, two conference rooms, a kitchen and two kitchenettes, a telephone booth and a bedroom for employees on duty.
– In transforming the warehouse into an office space, an essential element was also the change of the building’s facade. Although Tétris specialises primarily in interior design, we decided to entrust the company with this part of the investment. The result exceeded our expectations. They inspired the external appearance of the remaining buildings in the office complex to change according to the presented design. Thanks to this, our Katowice headquarters have a coherent, modern look – adds Marcin Walczysko from STS.
The works were carried out from July 2020 to March 2021. This period coincided with the pandemic and required the implementation of appropriate procedures related to the sanitary regime or precautionary measures. In addition, the STS office operated 24/7 without any problems. Despite many variables, the project was completed on time, and the building successfully passed a set of land-use change audits.

ZEAL launches Dream Car Raffle charity lottery in Germany
ZEAL has launched Dream Car Raffle (Traumautoverlosung), a new charity lottery offering in the regulated German gambling market. The company said the product is developed in-house and adds to its portfolio alongside its lottery brokerage business.
Traumautoverlosung is operated by Dreamify gGmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of ZEAL, while marketing and sales is handled by Lotto24 AG, also part of the group. ZEAL said the launch follows the Dream House Raffle (Traumhausverlosung) introduced in 2024 and freiheit+, making Traumautoverlosung its third charity lottery in Germany.
“With Traumautoverlosung, ZEAL continues its strategy of complementing its traditional lottery brokerage business with proprietary products, targeting new customer segments and reducing its dependence on jackpot-driven cycles of state lotteries,” the company said. Stefan Tweraser, CEO of ZEAL Group, added: “We are pleased to further expand our core business with attractive new products. Traumautoverlosung is another step towards diversifying our portfolio and reaching new target groups.”
ZEAL said Traumautoverlosung is structured with a limited number of tickets and a guaranteed winner. At launch, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS will be raffled, with a total of 250,000 tickets available. “With Traumautoverlosung, we are focusing on cars that are otherwise out of reach for many people – highly desirable models that are often difficult to obtain on the market,” said Michael Lee, founder of Traumautoverlosung. “Our goal is to translate this demand into a transparent, digital product with clearly defined mechanics.”
As a charity lottery, the product allocates at least 20 percent of ticket revenue to charitable causes, according to ZEAL. The company said the initiative will partner with Johanniter in 2026.
