Gaming Realms Signs Distribution Deal with 4ThePlayer
Â
Gaming Realms has signed a commercial deal with 4ThePlayer.com, a mobile-first gambling games developer.
The deal will see 4ThePlayer games integrated onto Gaming Realmsâ platform for distribution in the US. This is the first deal of its kind for the London-listed company.
In a statement, Gaming Realms said 4ThePlayer has a growing portfolio of games that align closely with its own Slingo portfolio and by the end of November it expects to have integrated the first game into the platform, followed by four or five further games in 2022.
âWe are very excited to be adding a new revenue line to our business by building a selection of 4ThePlayer.comâs games into our platform,â Michael Buckley, executive chair of Gaming Realms, said.
âTheir portfolio of games complements Gaming Realmsâ own Slingo content, and their decision to partner with us highlights the strength of our distribution network in the US.â
4ThePlayer was founded in 2018 by Andrew Porter and Chris Ash, a Gaming Realms director. Chris Ash will now retire as a director of Gaming Realms due to the potential for conflicts of interests arising from the new partnership.
âChris joined the board back in 2019 and has provided valuable guidance and strategic advice to the executive management, which has helped to scale our licensing business,â Buckley said.
âGiven Chris is a significant shareholder of 4ThePlayer, it is right that he steps down from the Board of Gaming Realms in line with our good corporate governance practice.
âOn behalf of the company, I would like to thank Chris for the important contribution he has made to our success.â
