Crypto Gaming Pioneer Cloudbet Officially Launches in Argentina
Cloudbet, the pioneering crypto casino and sportsbook, has officially launched an Argentina-focused service in response to the country’s surging interest in bitcoin and crypto gaming.
The platform has unveiled a country-specific site and blog to help Argentinians learn more about the benefits of betting with cryptocurrency, as well as the features that make Cloudbet a trusted leader in the world of crypto gaming: the best sports odds, the highest betting limits, a state-of-the-art bitcoin casino and a welcome bonus worth up to 5 BTC. Adding to that is Cloudbet’s world-class 24/7 live chat customer support – in Spanish – to better manage Argentine players’ inquiries.
The operator chose Argentina as the first South American locale in which to launch a local language service based on its analysis of search interest in crypto gaming and bitcoin purchases in five countries on the continent. Curiosity in crypto gaming has increased along with surging cryptocurrency ownership, as Argentinians seek a hedge against the devaluation of the peso amid stringent government capital controls.
“Given the intense interest, we think that now is the perfect time to dedicate more resources to help Argentinians realise the benefits of betting with crypto,” a Cloudbet spokesperson said. “We intend to give Argentinian players more support and more bonuses to utilise on upcoming events within our casino. Crypto enables us to offer features that traditional operators can’t.”
Founded in 2013, Cloudbet is one of the world’s longest established bitcoin betting operators, with a trusted legacy in safely storing player deposits and processing withdrawals seamlessly on an intuitive user interface. The site also accepts ethereum, bitcoin cash, and added three stable coins – USD Tether, USD Coin and Pax Gold – in recent months.
“We’ve noted that stablecoins are increasingly relevant in Argentina, where individuals are looking to protect the value of their assets from the peso’s devaluation,” Cloudbet’s spokesperson said. “We intend to add more coins that are specifically appropriate for this market.”
The operator relaunched its site in April to attract a more diverse audience and has introduced a swathe of bold new features including esports, politics betting, virtual sports and easy credit-card coin purchases.
Cloudbet grabbed the attention of industry observers in June with an ambitious English Premier League campaign, under which its sportsbook charged no margin on pre-match bets for all games left in the season. That allowed customers to access the fairest prices — and therefore the highest returns — in the market.
The “zero margin” campaign was an extension of Cloudbet’s long-standing “best odds” campaigns on sports including soccer, basketball and tennis.
“Argentine sports fans can be assured that best prices will be offered on the competitions that they care about,” the spokesperson said. “We’re talking about the best odds on match-ups in the Champions League, the Copa Libertadores, and in next year’s Copa America.”

argenpress.info Releases World Cup Report on Argentina’s Online Gambling Market
Berlin, Germany, June 30th, 2026
New research highlights player safety challenges during football’s biggest betting event
Argenpress.info has released new research examining how the 2026 FIFA World Cup is reshaping online gambling activity in Argentina, with the report warning that tournament-driven player growth is placing greater importance on operator transparency, fast payouts and consumer education.
The report, authored by Argentine gambling analyst Rogelio Lugoni, analyses how major sporting events attract thousands of first-time bettors and why this creates new challenges for both operators and regulators.
“The World Cup always brings a surge of new players into the market,” said Lugoni. “Many are placing their first online bet, which makes trust, transparency and clear licensing more important than ever.”
Tournament Betting Creates New Challenges
According to the report, Argentina’s online gambling market continues to expand rapidly, but major sporting events expose weaknesses in player awareness and operator transparency.
The research concludes that first-time users are significantly more likely to register with unfamiliar operators during major tournaments, increasing the importance of clear licensing information and reliable payment processes.
Among the report’s key findings are:
- Increased first-time player registrations during major tournaments
- Greater importance of fast and transparent withdrawals
- Higher demand for trusted operator information
- Growing need for player education around licensing
- Increased focus on consumer protection
Player Trust Extends Beyond Bonuses
While promotional offers remain a key acquisition tool during the World Cup, the report argues that long-term retention depends on the overall player experience.
According to Lugoni, delayed withdrawals, unclear verification procedures and poor customer support remain among the most common reasons players lose confidence in an operator.
“Players remember how quickly they receive their winnings far more than the size of the welcome bonus,” Lugoni explained. “Trust is earned through consistency and transparency.”
Research Based on Independent Operator Testing
The report forms part of argenpress.info’s ongoing market research programme covering Argentina’s online gambling sector.
Unlike traditional market commentary, each operator reviewed by the platform undergoes practical testing, including registration, deposits, gameplay, verification procedures and withdrawal requests before any recommendation is published.
As Argentina’s online gambling market continues to develop, argenpress.info says it will continue publishing research focused on player behaviour, regulation and operator standards.

Betano partners Fundación Empate on adapted football program in Argentina
Betano says it will fund weekly training for 192 athletes with Down syndrome and support the FUT21 National Tournament pathway ahead of October.
Betano has partnered with Fundación Empate to launch an adapted football-friendly tournament in Argentina, as part of the operator’s “Desafiá tus límites” (Challenge Your Limits) corporate responsibility programme.
The company said the partnership will support 192 athletes with Down syndrome by funding weekly practices, while also providing operational resources to strengthen training in the run-up to the FUT21 National Tournament in October. Fundación Empate describes FUT21 as Argentina’s main futsal competition for athletes with Down syndrome, bringing together delegations from across the country.
Germán Laborda, President of Fundación Empate, said: “For us, this support means much more than financial aid. It is a concrete opportunity for our players to keep growing, training, and showcasing all their talent. Having companies like Betano get involved in real inclusion helps bring visibility to the enormous effort and commitment of each member of our foundation.”
Alvaro Ferreres, Betano Country Manager for Argentina, added: “At Betano, we understand that social responsibility means getting truly involved and supporting the people behind every story. Supporting the players of Fundación Empate means proving that a company can be an ally that drives opportunities, inclusion, and development through sports.”
Beyond athlete funding, Betano said it will develop Teacher Training Workshops for Inclusive Sports aimed at more than 800 sports professionals, including coaches, physical education teachers and physiotherapists, as well as teams for athletes with Down Syndrome. The company positioned the initiative as part of its broader adapted sports activity under “Desafiá tus límites”, which it said also includes support for Argentina’s national blind football team, Los Murciélagos (The Bats).
