Token Swap, Trading And Royalty Payments

Published

on

Following strategic review, Quanta is now rebuilding its ecosystem, utility and token model towards its goal of using blockchain solutions to create gaming, fintech and e-wallet services that make social impact to targeted markets.

As promised, Quanta will warrant payment of royalties to eligible token holders. Upon compilation of all wallet addresses and royalty calculations, we will proportionately pay this royalty in ETH back to those wallet addresses on record. Payment date of ETH will be made in June 2020. Since QNTR is more than likely treated as a security (ie., pay dividends), review is ongoing on subsequent future royalty payments and distributions most efficiently.

QNTU’s utility was limited based on the existing ecosystem which would support the historical token price trajectory since inception. In order to achieve Quanta’s expansion of new gaming licenses and future deployment of Quanta Pay with the offering of various digital services and payments to targeted markets, a new token QNTX is introduced by management with expanded utility from gaming to free-to-play social impact lotteries to fintech, escrow, approve-and-call and payment services.

To reward current QNTU holders and allow for Quanta to complete the ecosystem expansion, token holders will be able to swap for the new token by rolling their current QNTU token into the new QNTX token. Or alternatively, token holders may always trade out of their QNTU positions through the public crypto exchanges no later than May 1st.

Aligned with the new ecosystem, a token swap will be implemented by conversion of all QNTU tokens into QNTX tokens. Price consolidation will be performed by conversion at 20,000 QNTU to 1 QNTX to bring back the token price to a more comprehensible monetary value (e.g., 1,000,000 QNTU at $0.00002 = 50 QNTX at $0.40). This will be fully actioned by the end of June based on the final QNTU ending price from CoinMarketCap on May 1st.

Staking options and full wallet address details will be provided by the end of March 2020 to all QNTU token holders on a one-time basis by rewards of new QNTX tokens based on holding period. If you pledge tokens to our stipulated wallet addresses by May 1st, Quanta will give you more bonus tokens based on the holding period. For 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y or 2Y maturity, we will reward holders with an extra 10%, 15%, 25%, 50% or 100% respectively in new QNTX bonus tokens.

In order to complete the above plan, exchange trading of QNTU will freeze on May 1st on all listed exchanges but relisting of the new QNTX token will take place on or around September 1st. Full proper procedures, complete listing of staking wallet addresses by maturity band and a support line will be released and communicated to all token holders by the end of March 2020.

We hope that you will continue with the aspirations and exciting rebuild of the Quanta project, its Quanta Pay e-wallet and its newly designed QNTX token. Please refer to the token roadmap and look out for much more exciting announcements soon.

OpenBet reports $3bn staked and 175m bets during World Cup 2026

openbet-reports-$3bn-staked-and-175m-bets-during-world-cup-2026

OpenBet said its platform processed more than 175 million bets and $3 billion in stakes across its global operator customers during World Cup 2026. The supplier published the figures on 22nd July 2026, describing the tournament as its biggest-ever betting event.

The company said England’s run to the semi-finals drove high volumes across its UK-facing customers. OpenBet reported almost 5 million pre-match bets for England vs Norway in the quarter-final, with England vs Argentina close behind at 4.65 million.

OpenBet also pointed to increased demand for player-driven markets. It said 23 million Player Prop bets were processed during the tournament, up 130% versus Qatar 2022, and that the final between Spain and Argentina generated 831,000 BetBuilder bets, 39% more than four years earlier. OpenBet added that ten of the 20 most repeated bet combinations included a Player Goals or Player Stats selection, compared with four in 2022.

In-play betting rose as the knockout rounds progressed, with OpenBet saying live bets reached around one in six bets and carried higher average stakes than pre-match. The supplier said it also provided Managed Trading Services to platform customers during the tournament, covering odds creation, trading content, and risk and liability management.

Beyond sportsbook, OpenBet said its OpenBet Locator™ product processed more than 200 million location checks across regulated US states during the World Cup. Nikos Konstakis, President at OpenBet, said: “A World Cup is one of the defining moments for our industry, and this was the largest betting event our platform has ever supported.

“What stands out beyond the numbers is the extent to which player behaviour continues to evolve. Fans are no longer simply backing a result, they are building their own narrative around individual players, and our expanded BetBuilder and Player Prop offering met that demand while delivering the high-margin products operators need.

“Sustained peak load across a six-week tournament is different to managing a single event, and our platform handled it extremely well.

“The highest-profile operators trust us with the events that matter most, and this was the largest of them all.”

BongoBongo goes live with QTech across four African markets

Operator cites higher turnover and retention after rolling out crash titles and QTech Promotions in Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya and Uganda.

BongoBongo has gone live with QTech’s aggregation platform across Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya and Uganda, with the operator reporting higher turnover, player engagement and retention following the launch this year.

The operator said growth accelerated during this summer’s FIFA World Cup, pointing to cross-sell activity between casino and sportsbook. It did not disclose specific figures for turnover or active players.

BongoBongo attributed much of the casino uplift to crash games from Smartsoft Gaming, highlighting JetX as one of its strongest-performing titles. The company also said it integrated Free Spins and Slot Of The Week campaigns via QTech Promotions, which it claims added another layer of engagement for new and existing users.

Separately, BongoBongo said it deployed “light” games from TaDa Gaming via the QTech gateway to support players facing device and connectivity constraints, including handset limitations, slower networks and higher data costs. QTech, in its own comments, said its strategy is to tailor performance tools market by market, adding: “What works in one market won’t by extension work in another, even if it’s a neighbouring one.”

QTech also said it invested heavily in data and BI last year and plans to continue, positioning its multi-operator and multi-supplier view as a platform advantage for spotting trends and optimising performance.
