Betano and Flamengo launch fan activation in Rio to boost visibility of women’s football
Interactive “Guess Who?” style experience will take place on April 25–26 at NorteShopping, engaging fans through a playful format
Betano, in partnership with Flamengo, will host a special fan activation this weekend, April 25–26, aimed at bringing supporters closer to women’s football.
The initiative will take place at NorteShopping in Rio de Janeiro and features an interactive experience inspired by the classic guessing game “Guess Who?”.
In the activation, two participants compete by secretly selecting a player from Flamengo’s women’s team.
They then take turns asking “yes” or “no” questions related to the athletes — such as position, physical traits, or national team experience — narrowing down the possibilities until one correctly identifies the opponent’s chosen player.
“By creating interactive, fun, and accessible experiences, we aim to connect with fans in a genuine way, give visibility to women’s football players, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the sport,” said Fabio Ritter, Senior Sponsorships Activation Manager at Betano.
Designed to place women’s football at the center of engagement, the activation focuses on audience experience as a way to strengthen the connection between fans and the sport.
Participation is open to individuals over 18 who are registered on the Betano website. Registration can also be completed on-site.
Event details:
Date: April 25–26
Time: 10:00–22:00 (Saturday) and 13:00–21:00 (Sunday)
Location: NorteShopping
Avenida Dom Hélder Câmara, 5474, Cachambi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Tottenham Hotspur names Betano training wear partner in three-year deal
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has signed a new three-year strategic partnership with Kaizen Gaming, owner of online sports betting and gaming brand Betano. The club said Betano will become its Official Training Wear Partner for the 2026/27 season, with year-round presence across Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London via pitch-side LEDs and big screens.
Under the agreement, Betano branding will also appear on training kits in pre-match and pre-season activity in the lead up to men’s fixtures during the 2026/27 season. After that season, the partnership will shift, with Betano transitioning into the club’s Official Europe & LATAM Betting Partner through to 2029.
Tottenham Hotspur said the deal will include collaborative fan engagement initiatives and digital content opportunities, with a focus on “promoting a safe and responsible approach to sports betting.”
Ryan Norys, Chief Revenue Officer, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “We’re pleased to begin this long-term partnership with Betano as we look ahead to the start of a new football season with great excitement. From our earliest conversations, it was clear we had a shared vision for what a modern sports partnership should look like, one that creates unique experiences for our supporters while making a positive impact beyond football as well as striving to help enhance knowledge around responsible gaming.”
Julio Iglesias, Chief Commercial Officer at Kaizen Gaming, said: “Tottenham Hotspur is one of the world’s most recognised football clubs, combining sporting ambition with a global fanbase and one of the Premier League’s most influential digital platforms. Both Tottenham Hotspur and Kaizen Gaming share the same belief that the strongest partnerships create value far beyond brand visibility; they create better experiences for supporters.
This partnership marks another important milestone in Betano’s long-term investment in European football and the Premier League. As we continue to expand internationally, Tottenham Hotspur’s global reach, digital leadership and ambitious outlook make the Club an ideal partner for the next stage of our growth. We look forward to building a successful partnership together over the next three years.”
