EAG Expo Confirms Growing International Credentials
Reading Time: 2 minutes
The growing international appeal of EAG Expo has been underlined with confirmation that visitors from 21 nations outside the UK have already registered to attend January’s event.
The data, which relates to the two-week period following the registration opening on September 1, comprises visitors from Belgium, Denmark, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Romania, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UAE, US, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
EAG Show Director Nicola Lazenby said: “This is fantastic news for our exhibitors who in addition to being able to meet and engage with all sectors of the UK out of home entertainment industry will also have access to an international audience in the process enhancing their Return On Opportunity.
“Whilst the core audience is from the host nation, I am delighted that the appeal of having three events under one roof comprising EAG, Social Immersive Entertainment Expo and London Casino & Gaming show is also resonating with international operators. The EAG team has been working with our customers to deliver the b2b event that they want. One of the requests was to open registration earlier which we have undertaken promoting the live link via social channels and direct to our database of 15,000 previous attendees.”
Phil Gibbs, who is responsible for exhibition support and marketing at EAG, said: “The opening of registration earlier than at any time in the show’s recent history is part of a broader support campaign which has included the development of the EAG app, a dynamic platform that enables visitors to connect with exhibitors before and during the show, a fresh new website with streamlined navigation and a comprehensive suite of promotional assets to help exhibitors maximise brand visibility and drive engagement ahead of the show. All the materials which include digital banners, graphics and email templates, are available to download directly from https://www.eagexpo.com using the exhibitor Ezone.”
The EAG team is focussed on growing attendance for the fourth consecutive year. The numbers attending EAG have increased by 69% since 2022 with the 2025 edition registering 4306 unique visitors a 23% year-on-year uplift. A total of 1973 businesses were represented in 2025 with 14% of visitors travelling to the London shows from outside the UK.

Industry Expert David Lucas to Chair a Seminar Session During EAG Expo 2026

David Lucas, a specialist in gambling, alcohol and entertainment, will chair a power-packed one-hour seminar session on “Working with Licensing Authorities” as part of the expanded EAG Expo, incorporating the Social Immersive Entertainment Expo and the London Casino & Gaming Show.
Lucas – who is a Director of Best Bar None the respected consultancy which provides training to licensing authorities on all aspects of licensing and gambling, has played a pivotal role in shaping modern licensing law. His fingerprints are on both the Licensing Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2005, and his published works remain go-to references for operators and authorities alike.
The session, taking place at midday on Wednesday, January 14, is a rare opportunity to learn directly from one of the sector’s foremost authorities. It will be a hands-on, practical panel discussion, chaired by Lucas and joined by three panellists representing Bacta, the broader industry, and a licensing authority – all bringing frontline experience to the table.
Together, they’ll tackle the three big themes every operator needs to master: applications, local risk assessments, and premises inspections.
EAG Chairman Nick Harding said: “There are few subjects more critical to gambling operators than licensing – and no-one better equipped to explain its intricacies than David Lucas. It’s a must-attend for anyone serious about ensuring they remain compliant and competitive.”
