Mega Millions, the lottery game that has produced a record six jackpot wins exceeding $1 billion, is getting ready for a “mega” overhaul with plans to be bigger and better than ever when the new and improved game launches in April 2025. Among the enhancements, players will benefit from:

• Improved odds to win the jackpot

• Bigger jackpots more frequently

• Larger starting jackpots

• Faster growing jackpots

• A built-in multiplier on every play, automatically improving every non-jackpot win by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X – up to $10 million for matching the five white balls

• No breakeven prizes, meaning when a player wins, they’ll always win more than the cost of the ticket

“We are creating a game that both our existing players and people new to Mega Millions will love and get excited about playing. We expect more billion-dollar jackpots than ever before, meaning creating more billionaires and many more millionaires as the jackpots climb, plus this game will continue the important legacy of supporting great causes everywhere Mega Millions is played,” said Joshua Johnston, Lead Director of the Mega Millions Consortium.

When the new and improved game launches next April, tickets will cost $5 per play. This is only the game’s second price adjustment since the first ticket was sold more than 20 years ago and the first change since the current game matrix was adopted in 2017.

Since Mega Millions launched in 2002, it has produced six winners of billion-dollar jackpots. Since the last change in 2017 more than 1200 players have become millionaires, an average of 3 millionaires per week.

ThrillTech and SportingTech have signed a global partnership to integrate ThrillTech’s jackpot products into the SportingTech iGaming platform, the companies said on July 7, 2026. The integration is positioned for online casino and sports betting brands using SportingTech, with a stated focus on Latin America and Africa.

Under the agreement, SportingTech operator partners will get access to ThrillTech’s flagship product, ThrillPots. The companies describe ThrillPots as a player-funded side bet that layers over existing casino and sportsbook content via a secondary, opt-in transaction.

ThrillTech said the approach is designed to avoid changing the underlying game mathematics and to limit disruption to core gameplay. SportingTech framed the deal as part of its broader strategy to expand its technology ecosystem through specialist integrations aimed at helping operators launch and differentiate faster.

Peter Mareš, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at ThrillTech, said: “Our partnership with SportingTech marks another significant milestone in our mission to make world-class jackpot technology accessible to operators worldwide. SportingTech’s robust platform and extensive footprint, particularly in dynamic regions like LatAm and Africa, make them an ideal partner and further accelerates our international rollout. Distributing multi-strategy payouts at scale requires absolute precision, and our technology is built to handle that complexity effortlessly. We are excited to see SportingTech’s operators leverage our player-funded jackpots to unlock new revenue streams and amplify their players’ experience.”

Nana Totoe, Chief Operating Officer at SportingTech, added: “At SportingTech, our focus is on giving operators the technology and partner ecosystem they need to build, expand and grow their businesses. Integrating ThrillTech’s innovative jackpot solution adds another powerful engagement capability to our platform, helping operators create more differentiated player experiences while unlocking new commercial opportunities. It’s another example of how we continue to strengthen our offering with best-in-class technology partners.”

BVGroup’s opt-in Epic Community Jackpot has paid out nearly £1 million to 501 customers across its UK iGaming brands, following a drop on June 30, 2026. ThrillTech, which supplied the jackpot technology, said the payout is the first UK “Community Jackpot” of its kind.

The main winner, playing on BetVictor’s online casino, received £488,035.59. BVGroup said 500 additional players across BetVictor, Heart Bingo, Smooth Spins, Betano, Parimatch and TalkSPORTBET each received £976.07 from the same prize pool.

According to the companies, the jackpot was configured to allocate 50% of the total prize to the main winner and distribute the remaining 50% across contributing players, using ThrillTech’s ThrillPots engine. Peter Mareš, Chief Technical Officer at ThrillTech, said: “This is the first community jackpot of its kind in the UK, enabling operators to reward hundreds or even thousands of players with a single jackpot instead of just one. Distributing these payouts at scale requires absolute precision. Our robust technology effortlessly handles the complex mathematics and has advanced protocols in place to ensure that all payouts are delivered exactly as intended.”

The companies also pointed to a previous payout on BetVictor’s “The Jackpots” product last month, when a single BVGroup player won £1,531,130, also powered by ThrillPots. Side bet, opt-in jackpot prize pools are player funded and sit on top of base casino games or sports wagering activity, with this implementation designed to distribute a single drop across a wider pool of contributors.

ATG Casino player in Sweden wins €2m jackpot powered by EveryMatrix

ATG® Casino has reported a second record-breaking jackpot win in six months after a player in Stockholm, Sweden, won SEK 21m (€2m) from a jackpot powered by EveryMatrix’s EngageSuite. The win was announced on Thursday, June 18th, 2026.

According to the supplier, the jackpot was delivered via EngageSuite Jackpots, which uses in-game widgets to display jackpot values in real time. EveryMatrix said operators can configure up to four jackpots per game without changing base bets, and can use simulation tools to estimate win frequency.

EveryMatrix also cited internal data indicating that players participating in games linked to EngageSuite Jackpots generate 66% more Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR), bets and rounds per user than players on non-linked games. The jackpot product forms part of the broader EngageSuite portfolio, which also includes tournaments, challenges, loyalty mechanics, bonuses and mini games.

ATG Casino previously recorded a €1.4 million MEGA Jackpot win earlier this year through the same product. In May, EveryMatrix extended its partnership with ATG® Casino, with the operator going live with Fantasma Games content, which can be linked to one or multiple independent jackpots via EveryMatrix’s aggregation platform.

Stian Enger, Head of Casino, EveryMatrix, said: “Seeing another multi-million jackpot winner at ATG® Casino so soon after the previous milestone win shows the sustained value EngageSuite Jackpots brings to operators and players.

“Moments like these create genuine excitement for players while giving operators the flexibility to build engaging jackpot experiences across their casino content.”

Jan Sonnevi, Head of Casino, ATG, added: “Awarding another significant jackpot prize is fantastic news for both our players and our casino. The combination of EveryMatrix’s content and engagement solutions continues to deliver memorable moments, and this latest win is another example of how our partnership enables us to provide unique entertainment to our Swedish customers.”
