SIS to sponsor race on Uruguay’s Gran Premio José Pedro Ramírez race day at Hipodromo Nacional de Maroñas
SIS (Sports Information Services), the leading multi-content supplier of 24/7 live betting services, will be a sponsor of the prestigious Gran Premio José Pedro Ramírez day, taking place at the Hipodromo Nacional de Maroñas racetrack in Montevideo, Uruguay, on January 6.
The undercard Gran Premio Maroñas (URU G2) race will carry the SIS name and builds on the long-standing partnership at the Maroñas racetrack, where SIS is the exclusive global distributor of pictures and data. In addition to this racecard, SIS will also sponsor races on Gran Premio General Artigas and Gran Premio Anniversary days.
The deal further underlines the firm commitment of SIS to support the success of racing across the whole of Latin America, following on from a similar recent sponsorship of the historic Argentine Derby, the Gran Premio Nacional at Hipodromo Palermo.
All international racing content supplied by SIS is made available via SIS 24/7 Live Betting services, an end-to-end solution which offers round-the-clock betting events incorporating live streamed pictures, data, on-screen graphics with betting triggers, and an extensive range of markets and prices.
As well as the Hipodromo Nacional de Maroñas, SIS also works in partnership with a range of major race courses in Latin America. In total, SIS delivers more than 30,000 live horse racing events each year, including premium races from Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and Uruguay.
Michele Fischer, Vice President SIS Content Services, said: “We have a long-standing and fruitful partnership with Codere and Hipodromo Nacional de Maroñas racetrack. It is fantastic to have the opportunity to sponsor a race on the most important racing day in Uruguay.
“This sponsorship shows that we are keen to support our valued partner, within a region that continues to be important for SIS.”
Ramon Rionda, Vice President of Racing at Codere, said: “We have enjoyed a successful partnership with SIS at all of our tracks and it’s great to have extended that alliance with a sponsorship on our prized Gran Premio José Pedro Ramírez day.
“Partnering with SIS, enables us to share this historic race day with racing fans all over the world.”
