OddsJam Appoints Benjie Cherniak as Strategic Advisor
OddsJam, a leading sports betting content and data provider, has appointed industry leader Benjie Cherniak as a strategic advisor.
The former Managing Director of Don Best Sports and a veteran of the sports betting space, Cherniak will provide support on the product-development side while helping drive OddsJam’s B2B strategy on behalf of co-founders Alex Monahan and Ankit Goyal.
“As a product-led company operating both B2C and B2B verticals, we couldn’t be happier to join forces with one of the true trailblazers in our industry. Benjie’s experience leading Don Best – a platform that played a major role in inspiring us to launch OddsJam – and his deep understanding of data-driven products and how to forge partnerships in the sports betting space are invaluable assets that will be key to our continued growth,” Alex Monahan said.
“I’m excited to be advising OddsJam, who are rapidly making waves in our space. Their market-leading subscription offerings resonate in a meaningful way with punters across North America and beyond. They are also gaining traction with operators, who see real value in the depth of OddsJam’s betting data, in particular within the growing player-prop vertical,” Benjie Cherniak said.

ODDSJAM NAMES INDUSTRY VETERANS NOAH SZUBSKI, MATT RESTIVO TO NEWLY-FORMED ADVISORY BOARD
OddsJam announced today that it has named sports betting executives Noah Szubski and Matt Restivo to its newly-formed Advisory Board.
The longtime industry veterans will support co-founders Alex Monahan and Ankit Goyal as part of OddsJam’s continued growth as a comprehensive cross-channel media company in the sports betting space.
“Like all new and evolving companies, we’ve done our best to adapt to consumer needs, which in our case has been placing an emphasis on the creation of engaging and data-driven content for all types of sports bettors,” said Monahan. “Suffice to say those efforts will be greatly strengthened by Noah and Matt, both of whom are steeped in the ins and outs of building and scaling digital businesses.”
Szubski and Restivo each possess a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, including time spent together as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Product Officer of The Action Network.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to help Ankit, Alex and the OddsJam team on their journey,” said Szubski. “The OddsJam approach to product ideation and editorial content leveraging their real-time data-driven insight is a welcomed breath of fresh air in the sports betting industry.”
“The growth that the platform has seen since 2021 truly speaks for itself,” added Restivo. “I have been incredibly impressed with Ankit and Alex’s ability to productize intelligent sports betting. Their ability to ingest data from sportsbooks in real-time is a true technical differentiator.”
A seasoned executive, advisor and early-stage investor, Szubski boasts over 15 years of experience building, operating and monetizing digital businesses at scale across multiple D2C verticals, including sports betting. He previously served as Chief Product Officer for the Daily Mail and Vice President, Digital for Playboy.
Restivo has extensive experience growing subscription businesses at scale – from streaming to D2C to sports betting – and spent much of his 14-year career building product experiences for the likes of ESPN and BAMTECH before co-founding Lucky Trader, a Web3 company, in 2022.
The two executives represent the first members of OddsJam’s Advisory Board.

OddsJam Acquires OddsBoom
OddsJam has announced that it has completed the acquisition of OddsBoom, an odds comparison platform. The purchase will help OddsJam expand its presence as a premium content and data provider for regulated sports betting.
As part of the acquisition, OddsBoom founder and sports betting industry veteran Mark Knight is joining OddsJam’s executive team as Head of Product, paving the way for a data-driven sports media company focused on original content and odds-comparison tools.
“Data represents the heart of the sports betting industry, which is why we set out to build the most data-driven media company in the space. Joining forces with Mark and the OddsBoom team will accelerate our mission to provide premium betting data and news to sports bettors of all types,” OddsJam Co-Founder Alex Monahan said.
“I started OddsBoom to build products geared toward helping both novice and experienced bettors make sense of the burgeoning sports betting market in the US. With my 20+ years of experience in the field and the great team at OddsJam, we are going to create something special,” Knight added.
The addition of Knight and the OddsBoom team will allow OddsJam to continue to develop its rapidly-growing content vertical, which already includes a 10-person editorial team tasked with purveying daily written and digital content covering a range of topics – from betting education and strategy to previews and picks-driven content – across all major sports.
