Cascades Casino North Bay Scheduled for Official Opening
Gateway Casinos and Entertainment has provided great news for gambling enthusiasts. The gaming conglomerate has revealed that its Cascades North Bay casino is on schedule and that the new gaming facility is on track to debut in the first months of 2022.
The company’s North Bay casino project dates back to 2019, but the development of the site has been delayed due to the emergence of the unprecedented situation. Work on the future casino on Pinewood Park Drive was allowed to resume in April, and now the property is well on its new schedule.
Rob Mitchell, director of communications and public affairs at Gateway Casinos and Entertainment, provided an update on the new game site. He said that the development of the site is going pretty well and that the company is satisfied with the progress made to date. In early 2022, the casino will join the list of the company’s 26 gaming properties across Canada.
The representative also informs that the company is in the process of hiring staff for the inauguration of the new property. According to him, the available positions were posted on the recruitment site Indeed.ca. In addition, the establishment will also organize an online career fair from December 7 to 15, 2021.
Mr. Mitchell went on to say that the company was in regular communication with the Mayor of North Bay, Al McDonald, as well as local MPs to ensure the casino can open in the first quarter of 2022. The spokesperson also added that the company is working on an official date for the opening, which is expected to be released shortly.
