Gaming Realms Launches Slingo in Pennsylvania
Gaming Realms PLC has announced that its first Slingo game has now gone live in Pennsylvania, following the company’s recent award of an interactive gaming manufacturer license in the state.
The game is live in the state via Gaming Realms’ tie-up with BetMGM and the company noted that more games are scheduled to follow shortly.
It said that it will go live with Rush Street Interactive imminently, also in Pennsylvania, and noted that it has agreements with a number of other leading operators to go live with Slingo Originals content.
“We are delighted to be launching our Slingo Originals games in Pennsylvania, which is one of the three leading U.S. states for iGaming and where gambling revenue increased over 60% year-on-year in July 2021,” Michael Buckley, Executive Chairman of Gaming Realms, said.
Gaming Realms, meanwhile, highlighted that it has already rolled-out with both BetMGM and Rush Street Interactive, and other operators, in the states of New Jersey and Michigan. It is also progressing in the licensing process in Ontario, Canada, where it aims to become regulated for iGaming in a market that is expected to exceed any of the currently regulated US states.
“BetMGM and Rush Street Interactive are both major players in the U.S. gaming industry and have been successfully distributing our Slingo content in New Jersey and Michigan,” Buckley said.
“We look forward to strengthening these relationships and securing additional agreements with market-leading US operators to bring our full suite of Slingo games to a new audience in the US.”
He added: “We intend to expand the group further by obtaining an iGaming supplier licence in Ontario Canada, and future US states as they become available.”

BetMGM Updates Anti-Harassment Policy to Protect Athletes
BetMGM, a leading sports betting and iGaming operator, has updated its terms of service to explicitly prohibit athlete harassment. Under the revised terms, BetMGM will suspend a customer’s account if the customer is found to have used harassing or abusive language toward athletes, coaches, or team or league personnel.
While the operator’s previous terms allowed account suspension for any lawful reason, including harassment, the update provides even more clarity around the policy and underscores BetMGM’s commitment to sports integrity and player safety. Updates to the terms of service are subject to regulatory approval as required.
“We are unwavering in our commitment to sports integrity — and that commitment extends to safeguarding athletes, coaches and league personnel. Our legal, regulated environment enables us to identify misconduct, investigate reports, and take action when necessary. Any confirmed instance of harassment will result in decisive measures, including account suspension,” said Rhea Loney, BetMGM’s Chief Compliance Officer.
Football legend and BetMGM ambassador Barry Sanders said: “As a professional athlete, I know how important respect is — both on and off the field. BetMGM is sending a strong message that harassment has no place in sports or sports betting. I’m proud to see BetMGM protecting athletes and promoting integrity.”
This update aligns with BetMGM’s broader responsible gambling initiatives, including the integration of educational messaging through GameSense at 10 football stadiums nationwide. GameSense is an industry-leading program developed and licensed to MGM Resorts International and BetMGM by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. The program is integrated across BetMGM’s mobile and desktop platforms, as well as MGM Resorts properties nationwide, providing practical tips and promoting positive, transparent, and proactive engagement around responsible play. BetMGM offers a variety of responsible gambling tools including the ability to set time and spending limits.

Octoplay Goes Live in Michigan
Octoplay is now live in Michigan across BetMGM, FanDuel, Fanatics, and Rush Street Interactive, marking the company’s second U.S. state and largest coordinated market entry to date. The simultaneous go-live with four tier-one operators arrives less than six months after Octoplay’s United States debut in New Jersey.
Since its founding in October 2022, Octoplay has secured active licenses across thirteen regulated jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, New Jersey, Ontario, Michigan, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Malta, Italy, Greece, Romania, and Slovakia. Michigan extends that momentum into the U.S. As one of the top three states by iGaming revenue, it represents a significant market, and Octoplay enters it with four tier-one operators live from day one.
“Just months after our New Jersey debut, Michigan represents the next phase of our U.S. expansion,” says Ralitsa Georgieva, Director of Business Development at Octoplay. “Launching simultaneously with four leading operators shows the confidence the market has in our content. We expect to carry this momentum into additional states throughout 2025.”
Earlier this year, Octoplay ranked first among U.S. rising suppliers by overall index in H1 according to Eilers & Krejcik, underscoring the company’s accelerating trajectory. With Michigan now live and additional state applications in progress, Octoplay is positioned to extend its North American footprint throughout 2025 and beyond.
