Exclusive Q&A w/ Shivan Patel, Pariplay’s Vice President of Operations in North America
The rapid growth of the online gaming industry in North America has opened up major opportunities for companies like Pariplay. As a leading iGaming aggregator and content provider, the company has established itself as a key player in this burgeoning market.
Shivan Patel, Pariplay’s Vice President of Operations in North America, has been at the forefront of the company’s success across the region. In this exclusive interview, Patel provides insight into Pariplay’s standout moments in the US over the past year, the future outlook for the provider and what we can expect to see at ICE next week.
Looking back at the last 12 months, what have been Pariplay’s standout moments within the North American market in terms of growth and performance?
This past year has been remarkable for Pariplay in North America, marked by significant partnerships and expansions. Key milestones included our collaborations with major gaming studios and extending our reach into new regulated states, which have been pivotal in our growth strategy.
Notably, we’ve expanded into three new markets: Pennsylvania (PA), British Columbia (BCLC) and Atlantic Canada (ALC). Our presence has also grown with seven new operators going live, and an additional eight operators signed, with plans for 16 more in 2024. Furthermore, we’ve established connections with 12 new suppliers and have 21 new connections in total.
This expansion has translated into a substantial increase in revenues, with a 153% rise on Fusion YoY, and an impressive 200% increase in GGR on Fusion for the same period. These achievements underscore our commitment to growth and excellence in the gaming industry.
How do you plan on continuing to uphold this success and strength within North America throughout 2024?
Looking ahead across 2024, a key focus will be expanding the variety of our proprietary content. We plan on releasing a range of new titles from our Wizard Games studio throughout 2024, with a number of these games bringing innovative mechanics and features tailored specifically for the US market.
We also plan to enter new regulated state markets in 2024. Our flexible open architecture makes it easy to integrate with new operators as legislation evolves. Being a first mover and gaining market share quickly will be a priority.
At the same time, we will continue improving our player engagement tools and data analytics to provide the most entertaining and customized experiences. Features like gamification, achievements, and bonuses help drive retention, and applying insights from our tools allows us to optimize game performance and serve up the best content for each user.
Are there any states in particular that you’re looking to prioritize?
With several states in the process of regulating online gambling, we are keen to prioritize entering new markets as quickly as possible – an example is Arkansas, where the market is expected to launch soon. We have already built relationships with major operators who will have a significant presence in the state, and being ready to go live early with our top content will be critical for securing substantial market share from day one.
Overall, being prepared to quickly deploy our top-tier games and technology into new emerging markets will allow Pariplay to continue accruing substantial market share across the US in 2024 and beyond. Our priority is being at the forefront as states shape the future of iGaming.
Could you give us any hints as to new products you’re excited to launch within the North American market?
We have several exciting new products in development that we can’t wait to launch in North America throughout 2024. While I can’t share specifics on the content side, our studios are working on new slot titles that incorporate interactive elements and mechanics for added engagement.
Overall, we have some very exciting products in the works that leverage cutting-edge technology and address the evolving landscape. I’m confident these new additions will further strengthen our position in the market throughout the next year, and I look forward to revealing more details soon.
What can we expect to see from Pariplay at ICE? Will North America take center stage in terms of what you’re showcasing?
ICE London is always a key event for Pariplay, and 2024 will be no different. With North America being our largest strategic focus, attendees can expect to see the region front and center at the show. Our booth will heavily showcase gaming content tailored specifically for the North American market. This includes titles from our Wizard Games studio, featuring cutting-edge mechanics and interactive bonus features that are sure to impress.
We’ll also hold private meetings with key existing partners to discuss our roadmap for the region. We have an active agenda booked with operators yet to launch in states like Ohio to demonstrate how our content and platform can help them hit the ground running. That said, we remain focused on growth across Latin America and Europe, and we’ll be showcasing localized content and features relevant to those markets. We hope to connect with both existing and prospective partners to discuss our latest innovations.
While North America garners much of the attention, our team will be coming to ICE prepared to have productive conversations about how we can collaborate to drive success across all our key regions in 2024 and beyond. We can’t wait to see what the show has in store.
Chicken X & Friends
Million Games unveils multiplayer crash game Chicken X & Friends at ICE
Million Games is heading to ICE 2026 with its most ambitious release yet. Chicken X & Friends is a real-time, unlimited multiplayer crash game and the official sequel to their award-nominated hit Chicken X.
Set across a chaotic multi-lane highway, Chicken X & Friends brings the beloved Jack Chicken back into action. This time, he is not crossing the road alone. Players jump into a shared, always-on playground where gameplay never pauses and no sessions need to fill. There is no waiting. Players can join at any moment and start their run instantly.
The game introduces a genre-first for crash gameplay. Unlimited, real-time multiplayer gameplay. Players see each other live on screen as they navigate traffic, build multipliers, and decide when to cash out before the crash hits.
“This is a big moment for us,” said Thomas Nimstad, CEO at Million Games. “Crash games are built on tension and timing. With Chicken X & Friends, we’ve made that tension social. You’re not just watching a multiplier climb. You’re watching other players make decisions in real time. We’re pushing the format further by making it social, visible, and strategically deeper.”
Player choice at the core
Gameplay takes place across multiple traffic lanes, each offering a different risk-and-reward profile. Slower lanes feature lighter traffic and steadier multiplier growth. Faster lanes increase volatility with denser traffic, but multipliers rise much quicker.
Players actively decide where to play. Stay in safer lanes. Push into danger lanes. Or move between them as traffic patterns change. Every jump is a choice, and every choice affects potential payout.
Safe zones offer a brief pause from traffic, but they are not an escape. Stay too long and the game will automatically cash you out, keeping the pace fast and the pressure on.
Movement is intuitive and fast, controlled via taps or directional buttons, allowing players to react instantly as traffic closes in.
Always social, always competitive
Up to eight players appear live on screen in each public playground. Jack Chicken represents you, while other players appear as pigeons, creating instant visual awareness of who is still in the race. The current top performer is crowned “the king”, highlighted with a unique skin and a visible live multiplier.
Leaderboards track the best runs over the past hour and the past 24 hours, allowing players to compare performance, chase rankings, and return repeatedly to improve their position.
Players can choose how they want to play. Join a public playground by default and compete with others. Create a private room and invite friends. Or play solo without other players visible. The experience adapts to different play styles while keeping the same high-pressure core.
Play it first at ICE
Chicken X & Friends will be showcased at ICE 2026 ahead of its official launch on 28 January. Visitors can experience the game live at the Million Games stand 2C72, where a daily tournament will run throughout the show, giving attendees a hands-on look at real player behaviour, competition, and pacing.
The original Chicken X was shortlisted for Crash Game of the Year and quickly became one of Million Games’ most played titles. With Chicken X & Friends, the studio expands the format with unlimited gameplay, deeper strategy, and visible multiplayer tension.
Fast to enter. Hard to master. Impossible to ignore.
Operators and partners interested in early access or distribution opportunities are encouraged to visit the Million Games team at ICE 2026.

Clarion Gaming Managing Director Stuart Hunter Praises United States Industry Thought-Leaders
Clarion Gaming Managing Director Stuart Hunter (pictured) has praised senior members of the United States-based global gaming industry for their ‘hospitality, time and expert insight’ during a recent fact-finding and engagement visit to Las Vegas.
During three days spent in the capital of gaming the Clarion Gaming team held meetings with C-Suite executives from GLI, Light & Wonder, Interblock, BMM, AGEM, Konami, IGT, MGM, Aristocrat and Fontainebleau Casino in the process updating stakeholders on a range of developments not least the decision to relocate ICE and sister show iGB Affiliate to Barcelona from 2025.
Reflecting on the visit, Hunter said: “Las Vegas never ceases to surprise and excite and being able to meet with many of the most influential industry personalities in what is regarded as being the world capital of gaming was invaluable. Everyone we met was extremely generous with their time and I would like to place on record my thanks to them and to Clarion Gaming’s United States team comprising Tom Nieman and Roy Student for putting our meeting itinerary together.
“I have always felt it absolutely essential that we continue to immerse ourselves in the industry sectors we serve and take each and every opportunity to listen to every word spoken by industry thought leaders. Being able to engage with our exhibitors about how they see the business developing and listening to the views of personalities such as the Chief Executive Officer for MGM, Bill Hornbuckle, were priceless.
“There was unanimous support for the decision to move ICE to Barcelona in 2025. Many of the Las Vegas-based ICE exhibitors we met with also have a strong presence and infrastructure in Spain with many predicting that the new end of January timeline that avoids clashing with Super Bowl will result in more C-Level members of the United States industry attending ICE. In addition, they believe the new Barcelona location will also support growth from the Latin America region.
“Our exclusive focus is now on delivering a phenomenal edition of ICE 2024; one that will live long in the memories of the many thousands of international industry professionals who view ICE as their most important industry event of the year. Based on the meetings we held, our exhibitors have very grand plans to make 2024 the greatest edition of ICE, so far.”
