Chopmania – revealed!!

What mysteries might be hidden in those woods?? Drive your harvester, chop some trees, and find out in this relaxing adventure RPG game!

Publisher and Developer Gamex Studio revealed their new upcoming game, a fresh take on all those digging & mining games. Inspired by the legendary Motherload, Chopmania now promises a fresh take on the genre by switching up the mining with chopping trees, which opens up a whole new dimension & interesting mechanics for players to explore.

About the game:
After the world has cut away too many forests, something happened… it appeared as if Earth fought back and started accelerating the growth of trees at exponential rates. Within a few years, thousands of cities became engulfed in trees and started eroding back humanity’s land. Humanity put monumental efforts into trying to keep the spread back, but it’s barely holding on.

Rumors spread that there were supernatural forces at work, fueling this exponential growth, but all efforts thus far to uncover the truth have failed…

In the last effort to save humanity, several outposts were deployed deep in the woods in an attempt to liberate the remaining cities and uncover something that would give hope back to humanity… You are in charge of one of these outposts with your trusted harvester… Go now, chop chop!

The citizens of various cities have been radioed and made aware that you have the biggest and meanest harvester around, so they count on you to reconnect them with the rest of civilization!
So, you almost got the role of a hero, but will you justify it?

Chop your way into the forest, while returning as many logs as you can back to your base to sell for profits. Don’t let your capitalist mind fool you though, instead use this only to fund your selfless efforts as you upgrade your harvester to move deeper into the woods. Remember, you are here to save humanity, not to reap profits for yourself!

As you dive deeper into the forest, you will encounter various challenges and missions, such as liberating cities from the overgrowth, finding ways to overcome impassable terrain like rivers, and more! The forest will get thicker and harder to cut through, as well as riddled with various dangers and obstacles, so you will have to make sure to keep upgrading your harvester to be able to cut your way deeper.

There are a lot of cities to liberate, far from your base, so you’ll have to keep an eye on your fuel levels as well. Cut strategic paths to allow you faster refueling and reaching further than ever before.

But don’t worry – there are certain technologies you can uncover and builds towards, such as the recently discovered teleport device, which will allow you to cover massive distances in the blink of an eye!

Can you venture deep enough by getting tips from the locals, and uncover the mysteries of the overgrowth and how to stop it? Well – humanity’s future depends on it, so we certainly hope so!

The directors of Gamex Studio, Rok Jesenicnik, and Andraz Vene said:

”Chopmania was designed to be a relaxing and fun game to play where players would enjoy exploring the places around the main base trying to get deeper into the woods when playing optimally on various levels. The chopping mechanics are designed to be satisfying to a player, and we’re adding new elements progressively, so the players always have something new to uncover. And the world is built procedurally, so no two playthroughs will be the same!

Players who played the games like Motherload, should surely enjoy Chopmania as well!”

Chopmania is set to be released in 2023 for Windows and Linux. Visit the newly established official Steam page to wishlist the game and stay updated.

Ten Square Games starts technical release for Medal Hunter ahead of global launch

Ten Square Games has begun a phased rollout for Medal Hunter, a new mobile PvP shooter for iOS and Android. The title entered technical release on 4 May, with global availability planned around the turn of May and June, subject to further improvements.

The initial rollout covers Mexico, Vietnam, the Philippines and Poland. Ten Square Games said this stage is focused on verifying technical KPIs and performance stability, while the team fine-tunes gameplay parameters.

Around mid-May, Medal Hunter is expected to move into a broader soft launch, with gradual availability in Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States. The company said the focus will then shift to validating short-term retention and engagement.

Medal Hunter is set in combat environments inspired by different historical periods, with architecture and weapons “strongly influenced” by real references but stylized for mobile play. At launch, the game includes five locations, and players compete in short PvP rounds by eliminating moving targets including aircraft and naval units, using two different shooting models.

CEO Andrzej Ilczuk said the project builds on Ten Square Games’ development approach used for Trophy Hunter: “Medal Hunter is an example of how we are putting our growth strategy into practice. Trophy Hunter helped us build a new development model based on clear benchmarks, early validation and a better understanding of the signals that matter before scaling a product. Medal Hunter capitalizes on that experience and on the broader product knowledge we have built across our portfolio. By using proven gameplay mechanics and working in this model, we were able to bring a new title to market in less than a year from the start of development. This gives us earlier insight into a game’s potential, helps limit development risk and allows us to shape products more closely around what players actually respond to”.

Bet on Games, the instant and crash games vertical within the Betcore ecosystem, has launched a new horror-themed crash game called Zombie Rush. The title is now available for global integration via Betcore’s single API, alongside content from TVBET and ElCasino.

Zombie Rush wraps the crash mechanic in a graveyard “survival run” theme. Players decide when to cash out as the multiplier rises, with the round ending when the “crash” triggers.

Bet on Games said the game runs on an “Optimized Math Model” with 97.5% RTP and a “dynamically accelerating multiplier curve.” The release also highlights “Visceral Horror Aesthetics,” linking the crash moment to a “grisly, memorable animation.”

On the feature set, Zombie Rush includes Autoplay and Auto Cash-out. It also adds “Strategic Dual-Betting,” which allows play across two parallel rounds simultaneously.

Betcore is directing partnership and integration inquiries to [email protected]. A gameplay video is available here.
