Terrible’s reopens Primm Valley Casino in Nevada after 17-day restart

Terrible’s said Primm Valley Casino reopened to the public at noon on July 22, 17 days after the company assumed management control of the Nevada property on July 5.

According to the company, teams from Primm Valley Casino and Terrible’s worked to restore operations, refresh the casino floor, complete life safety maintenance and prepare the property to reopen. “This reopening is a testament to what can be accomplished when people come together with a shared purpose,” said Tim Herbst, CEO of Terrible’s. “Our corporate team and the Primm team members have poured their hearts into bringing this property back to life in an incredibly short amount of time. Their dedication has been nothing short of amazing.”

Terrible’s framed the reopening as an economic boost for the Primm community, citing job restoration and the return of a long-running destination for Interstate 15 travelers entering Nevada. “From the beginning, our goal has been clear: reopen these doors as quickly and safely as possible for our team members, our guests, and the entire Primm community,” Herbst said.

The company said immediate changes include no resort fees on hotel stays, new promotions including a gaming member sign-up program, and an updated rewards program it said offers three times higher rewards than the previous program, with tier matching for existing members.

At reopening, Terrible’s said the property includes 422 gaming machines, 250 rooms, a William Hill Sportsbook, a Sports Bar and a 24/7 quick-bites eatery. Terrible’s also said it plans to add dining options including a Coffee Bar, a 24/7 Café and a steakhouse as it continues investing in operational and facility improvements.
