PokerStars Open Namur returns May 27 with €1m guaranteed Main Event
Belgium stop at Circus Casino Resort Namur runs May 27–June 7 and adds PokerStars Live League points toward a €157,500 credit pool.
PokerStars will bring PokerStars Open Namur back to Circus Casino Resort Namur from May 27 to June 7, with the festival returning one day after the operator’s May 26 announcement.
The stop follows a 2025 edition PokerStars said was record-breaking for Belgium, including 1,571 entries in the Main Event and what it called the largest live tournament prize pool in Belgian poker history.
This year’s schedule is headlined by the €1,100 PokerStars Open Main Event, which carries a €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Other listed highlights include the €400 PokerStars Open Cup (May 27-31), €3,300 Super High Roller (June 1-2), €2,200 High Roller (June 5-6), and €800 Mystery Bounty (June 6-7).
“Last year’s turnout reinforced Namur’s place as one of the most exciting live poker stops in Europe,” said Cedric Billot, Associate Director of Live Events Operations at PokerStars. “What makes the event special isn’t just the size of the fields, it’s the atmosphere around the entire festival.”
PokerStars also positioned Namur as a scoring stop in the PokerStars Live League, which awards points across High, Medium and Low leaderboard tiers. PokerStars said players are competing for a share of €157,500 in PokerStars LIVE event credit, with the top 30 players in each tier qualifying for a €100,000 freeroll at the first European Poker Tour festival of 2027.

Bragg Expands Partnership with 711 in Belgium
Bragg Gaming Group has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to expand its partnership with leading operator 711 in the Belgian market. This agreement paves the way for the upcoming launch of 711’s new online sportsbook, following 711’s successful acquisition of an F+ license from the Belgian Gaming Commission.
The new sportsbook offering, powered by Kambi’s Turnkey Sportsbook, will be seamlessly integrated into Bragg’s robust Player Account Management (PAM) technology platform. This expansion builds upon the strong existing relationship between Bragg and 711 in Belgium, where 711 successfully operates an online casino under a B+ license since December 2025.
As part of a unified user experience, players visiting 711.be will soon be greeted with a streamlined portal allowing them to choose between the casino and the soon- to-be-launched sportsbook platforms. The go-live is strategically scheduled to occur ahead of the upcoming 2026 World Cup, providing Belgian sports fans with a premium betting destination just in time for the world’s biggest football event.
Following the successful deployment of Bragg’s award-winning Fuze player engagement toolset for 711’s Dutch operations, this expansion also marks the introduction of the toolset to 711’s Belgian sports vertical. In addition to a deep integration with Kambi’s sportsbook technology, Fuze will provide a suite of engagement features, such as real-time tournaments and quests. These features and promotional tools will be implemented and utilized strictly in accordance with the Belgian regulatory and compliance framework, ensuring that all player retention and engagement initiatives align with local requirements.
Matevž Mazij, CEO of Bragg Gaming Group, said: “We are thrilled to have finalized this agreement to further strengthen our global relationship with 711. By supporting their entry into the Belgian sports betting market with our flexible PAM platform, Kambi’s world-class sportsbook, and our proprietary Fuze engagement tools, we are providing 711 with a powerful, comprehensive solution to compete at the highest level. We look forward to going live just in time for the excitement of the World Cup.”
Gilles De Backer, COO at 711, said: “Signing this agreement to expand our Belgian footprint with the upcoming launch of 711sports.be is a pivotal moment for our brand. Having already seen great success with our casino offering via Bragg’s platform, it was a natural choice to extend our partnership for the sportsbook.
“The addition of Kambi’s leading sportsbook technology and Bragg’s Fuze tools ensures that 711 will be well positioned to execute its core identity and strategy in the Belgian sports betting market by aiming to provide the best user experience, competitive odds, and strong player-focused features. The launch is also perfectly positioned for the increased sportsbook momentum we expect during the World Cup.”

Stakelogic integrates casino and live titles with Casino Elite in Belgium
Deal adds Dice Slots, Auto Roulette and the Super Wheel
Game Show to the Belgian operator’s online platform.
Stakelogic has signed a content partnership with Casino Elite in Belgium, with the supplier’s games now available to the operator via a direct integration.
Under the agreement, Casino Elite will roll out a tailored selection of Stakelogic content, including Dice Slots titles Abra-Ca-Dice, Dice Fortune and Dice on Fire, plus Auto Roulette. The package also includes live entertainment game shows such as the Super Wheel
Game Show, featuring five bonus rounds including Vegas Drops and Risky 100.
Casino Elite opened a gaming hall in Quiévrain in early 2024 and launched its online platform later that year. The operator said its roots trace back to The Flamingo, which it said established the first licensed gaming hall in Jurbise, and that its online platform hosts more than 700 games.
Jolene Magri, Account Manager at Stakelogic, said: “This partnership is a strong example of the range we can bring to operators today. Casino Elite wanted a rollout that felt dynamic and differentiated, and this mix delivers just that. It gives the brand a broader content proposition with plenty of variety for players; while also reflecting the flexibility we can bring to different markets and operator strategies.”
Pierre Decourt, Marketing Director at Casino Elite added: “Our focus is on creating an experience that feels modern, accessible and varied, while still staying true to the roots of gaming in Belgium. The rollout with Stakelogic is a strong fit for that vision, bringing players a broad mix of distinctive formats, from dice-led titles through to casino and live game show entertainment.”

Belgian gaming regulator
Belgian Regulator Supports New Law for Tougher Player Protection and Increased Oversight
Reading Time: < 1 minute
The Belgian gaming regulator Kansspelcommissie (KSC) has issued an endorsement of a proposed legislative bill aimed at strengthening player protection and enhancing regulatory oversight over gambling in Belgium.
The draft legislation’s key provisions include a proposed weekly deposit cap of €200 ($232.85) per gambling platform, a prohibition on gambling with credit, restrictions on the number of betting licences issued to newsagents and an extension of the national gambling self-exclusion register to include bars. The bill also proposes limits on the number of slot machines permitted in bar settings.
The bill also seeks to address the regulator’s concerns about its own operational capability and staff shortages. It proposes that the regulator must have at least 10 full-time members of staff, and it would also increase the maximum number of police officers that can be seconded to the commission be from four to eight.
While the KSC has broadly endorsed the bill’s objectives, it has recommended a phased rollout for certain measures, particularly the expansion of the exclusion system, which is expected to be fully implemented by May 2026. The commission also expressed some reservations about a total ban on credit card gambling.
