Kaizen Gaming logs 962 volunteer hours across 9 markets in latest Collective cycle
Kaizen Gaming has completed the latest cycle of The Collective, its international volunteering programme, mobilising 237 employees across 10 locations in nine markets for a total of 962 volunteer hours.
The company said the cycle focused on environmental sustainability, biodiversity protection and animal welfare projects delivered with local non-governmental organisations. Kaizen Gaming also donated €80,000 to partner NGOs and said the combined activities benefited more than 24,000 people and 350 animals.
Work cited in the release included habitat and forest support in Greece—such as maintaining more than 700 trees and plants at Thessaloniki’s Neapolis Food Forest, restoring 220 metres of forest road on Mt. Hymettus, and carrying out enclosure painting and cleaning at ANIMA wildlife rehabilitation centre in Athens. Elsewhere, volunteers supported BirdLife Malta with protected-area maintenance at Għadira, and worked on post-storm recovery and clean-up operations with Reerguer Leiria in Portugal, which Kaizen Gaming said benefited approximately 23,500 residents.
Additional projects included mentoring sessions in Germany through ReDI School, support for a recycling cooperative in São Paulo with COOPER VIVA BEM, planting 80 native trees in Tenjo, Colombia with Fundación Al Verde Vivo, and animal welfare support in Romania and Argentina. Kaizen Gaming reported a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 94% for the programme.
Ioanna Kozadinou, Corporate Responsibility Senior Manager at Kaizen Gaming, said: “The scale and impact of the work done by The Collective continues to grow and achieve real and lasting impact with the projects we have supported. It has been inspiring to see the results Kaizeners have achieved by bringing colleagues across multiple markets together as part of The Collective to support environmental sustainability, biodiversity, and community initiatives. From habitat restoration and wildlife care to recycling and community recovery efforts, these activities demonstrate how targeted, hands-on volunteering can deliver tangible benefits for local ecosystems and communities, while strengthening engagement and shared purpose across our organisation.”
