Alex Dixon Resigns as President, CEO of Q Casino

Alex Dixon, president and CEO of Q Casino & Resort and the Dubuque Racing Association (DRA) has resigned his position, effective in January.

Dixon has held the position at Q Casino in Iowa, US, for three years, taking over from Jesus Aviles in 2021. He has overseen the complete interior remodel of the venue which included the addition of an all-ages arcade.

Chief operating and finance officer Brian Rakestraw will as interim CEO of Q Casino after Dixon’s departure in January until a successor can be found.

“Serving this incredible organisation has been the honour of a lifetime. It’s been an honour to work alongside a team so deeply committed to making a difference, and I’m leaving with the deepest gratitude and best wishes for the (organisation’s) continued success,” said Dixon.
