IGSA to Co-host Cyber Security Workshop with the Etail & Hospitality ISAC (RH-ISAC)

The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) is to co-host a cyber security workshop in conjunction with the Retail & Hospitality ISAC (RH-ISAC). This event takes place at the Wynn Las Vegas on Thursday, October 10, at 11:30 a.m. PST.
The Retail & Hospitality ISAC is a secure place for retail and hospitality companies to share cybersecurity information and intelligence in order to not only better protect their own companies, but to also strengthen the entire sectors. The RH-ISAC has over 300 Core Members (retailers, restaurants, hotels, gaming casinos, food retailers, consumer products, and other consumer-facing companies) sharing threat information so others can learn, grow, and continue to mature.
“We are delighted to have IGSA be a part of the return of the RH-ISAC Gaming Workshop to Las Vegas. The workshop will include interactive discussion sessions, threat briefings, and the sharing of leading practices centered on the topic of building secure products for the gaming industry,” said Luke Vander Linden, RH-ISAC VP, Membership & Marketing.
IGSA President Mark Pace said: “IGSA is very excited to be a part of this cyber security workshop where we can highlight the Best Practices that IGSA’s Cyber Resiliency Committee is developing. BMM Testlabs’ Travis Foley Appointed Chair of IGSA’s Emerging Technology Committee

BMM Testlabs (“BMM” or “the Company”) announced that Travis Foley, Chief Government and Regulatory Officer, has been appointed Chair of the Emerging Technology Committee (ETC) for the International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA).
The ETC is a specialized committee within IGSA focused on identifying and evaluating transformative technologies likely to be deployed within the gaming industry. As Chair, Foley will lead collaborative efforts to support suppliers, regulators, and operators with clear frameworks, regulatory guidance, and standardization strategies that ensure the safe and efficient implementation of new technologies.

International Gaming Standards Association Welcomes New Payments Committee Member: Sightline Payments

The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) is pleased to welcome a new committee member, Sightline Payments.
IGSA President Mark Pace said, “IGSA would like to welcome Sightline, who has joined as a Payments committee member. Sightline is one of the most innovative payments companies and a leader in payments within the gaming industry. The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) has welcomed VISA as its New Payments Committee Member.
IGSA President Mark Pace said: “IGSA would like to welcome VISA, who, along with several other payments-related companies, is now an active participant in the IGSA Payments Committee. VISA is a world-known multi-national card and digital payments corporation. Their participation in this committee brings a wealth of knowledge and input from the ‘brand’ side of the payments process. We look forward to announcing more companies in the Payments space joining this important committee, as we continue down the path of producing Payments Standards and Best Practices for the industry, with the industry.”
The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) is the largest technical standards development organization dedicated to the creation and evolution of standards and protocols to the betterment of the global gaming industry.
