Swintt explores the wonders of the ancient world in Treasures of Rome
Hot-shot software provider’s latest Premium release sees players assemble a legion of legendary wins by drawing on the power of three thrilling Mystery Diamond features
This month, sought-after software providers, Swintt, is inviting players to join them on a journey back in time to the golden age of prosperity in Treasures of Rome – a brand-new Premium release where a trio of Mystery Diamond bonus features can help them to truly colossal wins.
Featuring five reels and 30 fixed paylines in its base game, Treasures of Rome transports players back to the heart of the ancient empire as they set their sights on maximum wins of up to 450x their stake. Alongside traditional ace-through-jack card values, unique symbols to appear on the reels include Roman nobles, harps and vases, with an imposing coliseum acting as the slot’s bonus-triggering scatter.
While they spin, players will also notice diamonds whizzing by on reels two and four. Should one of these special icons land in view during the base game, it will add up to three coloured diamonds to the metres on the left of the game board, with these in turn triggering one of three thrilling bonus features.
In each case, players will receive a free respin as one of the following lucrative modifiers is activated. Collecting three red diamonds will cause the reels to expand, doubling the number of rows and increasing the game’s total pay lines from 30 to 75, three purple diamonds will see all wilds boosted by a 2x multiplier, while three green diamonds will randomly add between 5 and 10 wilds to the reels.
The Mystery Diamond modifiers become even more prominent during Treasures of Rome’s main free spins feature, which is triggered whenever three or more coliseum scatter symbols appear anywhere on the reels. When this happens, players will be awarded between 8 and 12 free spins, but now any diamonds that land will not only instantly trigger at least one bonus, but also award an additional spin.
As each symbol can still potentially award three coloured diamonds, it’s therefore much easier for players to enjoy their next respin with all three modifiers activated, creating potentially huge combination wins. Not only that, but the extra free spins that they receive can prolong the feature indefinitely, further increasing the chance of them walking off with the wealth of an empire at the end.
With Treasures of Rome being a SwinttPremium release, players will also be delighted to discover that they can boost their base game wins with the help of the studio’s signature Risk feature. Available after each successful spin, this optional extra simply requires players to correctly guess the colour of a face-down playing card to double their prize, after which they can collect their winnings or carry on picking.
David Mann, Chief Executive Officer at Swintt, said: “They say that Rome wasn’t built in a day – but in Swintt’s new Treasures of Rome slot, colossal wins can certainly be built in a single spin thanks to the presence of three Mystery Diamond features that can combine to create some truly epic payouts.
“As an exciting addition to our popular SwinttPremium line-up, Treasures of Rome features the iconic visuals and simple gameplay that have made the series such a success, but the inclusion of expanding reels, 2x multipliers and random wilds gives the slot a modern edge that new players will really enjoy.”
