Genius Sports launches suite of NFL free-to-play interactive games to grow international fanbase
The National Football League (“NFL”) and Genius Sports Limited (“Genius Sports”), have expanded their partnership to engage NFL fans by launching a range of unique free-to-play games in select international markets.
As the NFL’s exclusive distributor of official league data, Genius Sports will provide knowledge-based predictor, bracket and personality quiz-style games to boost engagement with NFL fans in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Mexico and the UK.
This customised suite of digital products will challenge fans to test their NFL knowledge through draft pick predictor games, gameday score forecasts as well as Playoff and Super Bowl bracket selections. These interactive products will gamify the entire NFL fan experience and drive repeated engagement with year-round multilingual content.
Players will be encouraged to sign up for the NFL’s official games, giving them a direct platform to compete against other NFL fans around the world. In addition, these interactive tools allow the NFL to better understand its worldwide audience and personalise future fan experiences.
Genius Sports is the NFL’s exclusive distributor of real-time and official play-by-play statistics, NGS data and official sports betting data feed. Through its Marketing Suite, Genius Sports offers an all-in-one engagement engine to transform how brands and sports identify, engage and retain fans. As well as gamification tools and official data feeds, the Genius Marketing Suite offers a sports-centric media buying service and a dynamic creative platform.
This season, Genius Sports has launched data-driven predictor and pick ’em games for several NFL teams, including the Rams, Colts, Broncos and Raiders.

Tonybet player in Canada claims $20,000 CAD golden World Cup card prize
Tonybet says a player in Laurier-Station, Canada has claimed the “golden card” prize worth $20,000 CAD in the operator’s World Cup Card Collection. The announcement was made Tuesday 21st July 2026.
The World Cup collection featured 51 cards in total, including 48 digital cards representing participating World Cup nations, plus three unique prize cards in bronze, silver and gold. Tonybet said the bronze card—available during the group stage—was previously found by a customer in Saint-Colomban, Canada, while the silver card—available during the knockout rounds up to the quarter-finals—was won by a player in County Kildare, Ireland.
The golden card became available for the semi-final, third-place play-off and final, and has now been claimed, Tonybet said.
Tonybet Head of Product Kiryl Liudvikevich said: “You can plan a campaign down to the last detail, but you can’t plan what the World Cup brings.
“We designed the collection to evolve with the tournament, and every knockout round created new stories we couldn’t have predicted. Seeing players complete their collections and discovering who would uncover each prize was the most rewarding part of the campaign.
“I hope everyone enjoyed the experience for what it was meant to be: a fun addition to the tournament, played responsibly and always within their limits.”
Tonybet said the collection will remain open until 31 July for players who are still completing sets and spending coins, although all grand prizes have been awarded.

Greentube goes live in Alberta as province opens regulated iGaming
Supplier secures AGLC registration and extends its Canadian footprint beyond Ontario, where it has been live since 2022.
Greentube has gone live in Alberta on the day the province opened as a newly regulated iGaming market, marking the supplier’s first launch in the jurisdiction.
The NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment division said it completed regulatory and technical due diligence and secured registration with the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) commission to operate in the province. Alberta becomes only the second Canadian province to regulate iGaming after Ontario, with the new framework replacing the monopoly previously held by Play Alberta.
The Alberta launch builds on Greentube’s existing Canadian footprint. The company has been live in Ontario since 2022 and described the Alberta debut as part of its wider North American expansion strategy.
