EGT to debut Brazil-focused VLT portfolio at SBC Summit Rio 2026
EGT is once again set to turn the eyes of the gaming world toward its presence at SBC Summit Rio 2026. At booth A570, at this year’s edition of the event, the Bulgarian company will showcase a selection of new VLT products, created specifically for the local market.
Among the main highlights will be the brand-new Video Lottery Terminals Super Sorte 27/27 ST and Super Sorte 43V. The Super Sorte 27/27 ST is a slant top cabinet with two 27-inch full HD touch monitors with 4K UHD resolution, delivering a dynamic and well-balanced gaming experience. The vertical Super Sorte 43V will also offer guests an immersive gaming journey with its single 43-inch full HD large-format curved touch display. Both terminals include digital LED lighting, a surround sound system and an electromechanical button keyboard, providing comfortable and precise interaction during play.
EGT’s new series of online betting terminals Estrela will also make its debut to the Brazilian gaming community. It will present its first 2 members – Top Estrela and Bar Estrela. Top Estrela expands the company’s online gaming library into local venues, designed to immediately catch the eye with its elegant 24-inch portrait-oriented touch monitor and numerous ergonomic features. Bar Estrela offers a compact solution for counters and bar tops where space is limited, but demand for online gaming is strong. Equipped with electromechanical keyboards and a specialized online platform ensuring intuitive control and secure access to a vast range of games, the two models certainly have everything they need to become a preferred solution for the operators.
In addition, the well-known Gold VLT multigame will reveal the enormous potential of its 50 titles on various themes, including both classic offerings from EGT’s portfolio such as Amazons’ Battle and Burning Hot, as well as games popular in the country such as Keno Universe.
EGT Digital will also present its rich portfolio of online solutions, including the proprietary iGaming platform X-Nave, as well as a vast array of casino games. Panda Ventura, one of the company’s most warmly received titles, will stand out as one of the main highlights. Visitors will be able to experience its engaging gameplay, defined by intuitive mechanics, well-timed features, and a smooth flow that builds excitement from the very first spin.
As the first release in the expanding Ventura universe, Panda Ventura lays the foundation for a character-driven series designed for long-term player engagement. The upcoming Tiger Ventura will continue the concept, preserving the recognizable identity and dynamic rhythm that have already resonated with audiences across Brazil and the wider LATAM region.
Celina Guedes, Regional Director Brazil at EGT, commented: “We are happy to once again participate in SBC Summit Rio 2026, one of the key gatherings for the gaming industry in the region. Following our strong start to the year in Barcelona, we look forward to presenting a comprehensive portfolio spanning advanced land-based technologies and innovative digital solutions, developed specifically for the Brazilian market. This event provides an important platform to strengthen partnerships, showcase our localized innovations, and further consolidate our position within Brazil’s evolving gaming ecosystem.”

Superbet CEO Alexandre Fonseca named to Game Changers iGaming 2026 list
Superbet CEO Alexandre Fonseca has been included in the global ranking “Game Changers: Top 100 most influential people in iGaming 2026,” with the company stating he is the only Brazilian executive featured on the list.
Fonseca linked the recognition to the development of Brazil’s newly regulated betting market. “This is the result of a journey that began back in 2007. Today, we see the sector consolidating itself as an economic pillar which, in its very first regulated year in 2025, generated BRL 37 billion in volume and BRL 10 billion in federal taxes,” he highlights.
The executive also pointed to the role of governance and compliance as the market scales. “Our role now is to ensure this growth continues to be guided by legal and tax certainty. At Superbet, player protection and user experience are not just rhetoric, but technology applied in real-time.”
According to the press release, the Game Changers list is an annual ranking that selects impactful leaders, professionals and regulators in the global online gaming industry, based on criteria including innovation and market relevance.
For operators and suppliers tracking Latin America, the inclusion underscores the growing prominence of Brazil’s regulated online betting sector as it attracts international attention and investment focus.

Esportes Gaming Brasil exec calls for ‘responsible sponsorship’ at BiS Brasília
Esportes Gaming Brasil director Hugo Baungartner used a panel appearance at BiS Brasília (Brazilian iGaming Summit) to argue that sports and cultural sponsorships should be measured by their long-term impact, not just brand visibility. Baungartner spoke during the session “A Importância dos Patrocínios e das Leis de Incentivo para a Sustentabilidade do Esporte e da Cultura.”
During the debate, Baungartner said sector maturity requires a long-term approach that turns sponsorships into platforms for relationship-building and local ecosystem development, connecting with fans, consumers and communities.
He highlighted the group’s sports partnerships with Corinthians, Ceará, Náutico and Ferroviária, as well as support for Brazilian cultural events including Carnaval, São João and the Festival de Parintins. Baungartner said major events can move entire supply chains by boosting tourism, commerce and job opportunities, and pointed to the importance of working with local suppliers and professionals in Parintins to expand the positive impacts of sponsorship spending.
Baungartner also addressed challenges in Brazil’s regulated betting market, saying consolidation depends on governance, integrity and consumer protection, alongside efforts to combat illegal operators. He said advances in provider regulation and stronger financial traceability mechanisms are important steps to limit unauthorized activity and improve user security.
“Patrocínio responsável é aquele que cria conexão real com o público e deixa legado no território. No esporte e na cultura, isso significa investir com governança, transparência e propósito, fortalecendo um ecossistema que gera renda, emprego e oportunidades”, afirmou.
