Sportradar extends Wimbledon official data and AV betting rights deal
Sportradar Group AG has agreed a multi-year extension of its official data and audiovisual (AV) betting rights deal for The Championships, Wimbledon, the company said on 04 June 2026. The agreement is with the All England Club and renews rights beyond 2026.
Sportradar said the partnership continues its exclusive global distribution of Wimbledon’s official data and AV betting rights, covering both the main draw and the Qualifying Competition. The rights were originally secured via Sportradar’s acquisition of IMG ARENA in 2025.
The company said the renewal supports deeper integration of official data into betting and fan engagement products, including “expanded micro betting and player markets” powered by real-time odds.
Moritz Gloeckler, EVP Rights and Strategic Projects Sportradar, said: “The Championships is one of the most iconic properties in global sport. Working exclusively with the All England Club allows us to bring the most accurate, real-time data from Wimbledon into the global betting ecosystem, and to the integrity services we will also provide. By integrating advanced live markets and micro betting capabilities, we’re enabling our partners to deliver more immersive engagement throughout every point, game and set.”
Paul Davies, Associate Director, Broadcast, Production & Media Rights at the All England Club, added: “We are pleased to extend our relationship with Sportradar and for the distribution of Wimbledon’s official data and audiovisual betting rights. Ensuring that accurate, official data from The Championships is delivered globally is important for protecting the integrity of our event while supporting innovation in how fans engage with the sport.”

EGT made its first installation in Iceland
EGT’s gaming equipment is now available in Iceland. The company has carried out its first installation at the biggest gaming establishment in the country – Casino Haspenna in Reykjavik. The venue operated under a license from Happdraetti Haskola Islands (University of Iceland Lottery), now offers its guests the opportunity to try their luck with the bestseller Bell Link, which is housed in the popular General Series cabinets G 27-27 ST.
Players are able to choose between the hit titles from the Bell Link 1 and Bell Link 2 mixes. The two lower jackpot levels – Mini and Minor, are stand-alone and individual for each machine, while the higher Grand and Major levels are common for all EGT cabinets in the casino floor, thus creating even greater chances to win big.
“We are pleased to establish our presence on the Icelandic market and consider this installation a significant milestone for our company,” commented Madlen Matevosian, Business Development Manager at EGT. “The installation process and overall cooperation have been very positive, and we highly appreciate the professionalism, support, and collaborative approach of the team of the University of Iceland Lottery. We are confident that our products have strong potential in the region and believe this partnership builds a strong foundation for long-term cooperation.”
Given the selective and regulated gaming environment in Iceland, this installation represents an important strategic step for EGT and further validates the enormous potential of the company’s products in the region.
Arna Ómarsdóttir, Director Operation at the University of Iceland Lottery, also expressed her positive expectations: “We welcome EGT as a new vendor and view this as a positive step in further strengthening our gaming offering. We’re particularly excited to see how their machines will be received on our floor, as this is exactly the kind of addition that keeps our gaming experience fresh and compelling for players.”
