TLM Partners, Inc. Expanding Into Latin America with the Addition of Sergio C. Muñoz to the Executive Team
TLM Partners announced that Sergio C. Muñoz has joined the company as Vice President, Corporate Development. Muñoz has decades of banking and business development experience. He brings a background in negotiating contracts with marquee clients as global and complex as the Inter-American Development Bank and as communitarian and homegrown as the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity to TLM’s stable of executives.
Muñoz takes the reins of corporate development, serving in dual roles heading the investor relations for publishing and funding efforts, as well as the global initiative pioneering the growth of TLM’s premiere Centers of Excellence global program. This will be his executive transition to a corporate development role to bring new opportunities with an equity lens on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) for this gaming studio.
Jacob Hawley, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TLM, issued a two-pillar vision for this explosive growth Cloud Studio, “TLM will become a billion dollar publishing company but more importantly we will be memorialized as the company that laid the foundation for the next generation of game developers.”
Muñoz opens his efforts signing strategic partnerships throughout the Americas, beginning in Mexico. “I understand Jake’s vision and long to see this type of achievement in Latin America and the Caribbean. We struggled together for years to bring DEI gaming projects to the University of California at Irvine (UCI) and also to Chapman University. At UCI, we were astounded to reveal that we were the first in the academic institution’s 61-year history, at the time, to make this type of impact,” said Muñoz.
Sergio joins TLM with a diversified portfolio as both an executive dealing with investors backstage and as a creative dealing with individuals in the way-back-seats. His work leading gender smart investments has been featured on PBS, Studio 360 and in the newspapers and magazines covered by the Inter American Press Association, as well as the Los Angeles Times, Poder Hispanic Magazine, Latino Leaders Magazine, Univisión and Telemundo in the USA.
