EvenBet Gaming enters Indian market with new skill game ‘Call Break’

Leading online gaming software developer EvenBet Gaming has added the in-demand card game ‘Call Break’ to its platform’s extensive library of titles. The game was recently launched by such popular platforms as MPL and Faboom which is owned by Adda 52, a subsidiary of Delta Corp.

This marks the 35th card game adapted by EvenBet and is now available through the company’s market-leading poker platform. The in-house developed title is one of the most sought-after online card games and is set to provide strong user engagement levels for EvenBet’s operator customers

Call Break is a strategic skill-based game that is legal to play online in India. Skill-based games and especially card games are beating the records in India at the moment, while the whole online gaming industry is booming: the number of online players is expected to reach 440 million in 2022, India is considered one of the top 5 mobile gaming markets, and the calculated growth for online card games has reached 67% year-on-year in 2020. The skill-based strategy card game has seen a huge uptick in popularity across South Asia, particularly in India and Nepal. With relatively few vendors offering Call Break, EvenBet’s new version of the game makes it ideal for operators to attract new players.

Call Break sees a 52-card deck distributed among four players who each declare the number of hands they expect to win. Each player contributes one card of the same colour suit to a hand during their turn, with the highest card winning that hand. When all cards are used, the points of each player are evaluated based on the accuracy of their calls.

The new game allows one to use strategic skill as well like rummy or poker and is receiving a lot of attention among players looking for new entertainment possibilities. This is now available to the pool of EvenBet Gaming customers: 9stacks, PokerSaint apart from other projects based on the company’s platform.

The release of Call Break further enhances EvenBet’s content offering, which consists of over 2000 card games, table games, slots and live games offered by its third-party partners.

Dmitry Starostenkov, CEO at EvenBet Gaming, said: “Call Break by EvenBet is a unique card game that can help operators attract a whole new demographic of players.

“Industry analysts believe Call Break has every chance of becoming one of the three most played skill-based games in Asia, alongside rummy and poker, so making it available through our platform is hugely important. Now that we can provide all these three offerings, we expect our software to meet all the Asian gaming companies’ demands; operators ready to deliver all the most popular skill-based card games will get a notable advantage in these markets.

“As a forward-thinking developer, we are quick to respond to market trends and this is the latest example of how EvenBet helps operators to increase their user engagement rates through quality content.”

Groove joins SiGMA Asia panel on resilience of Asian iGaming licensing

groove-joins-sigma-asia-panel-on-resilience-of-asian-igaming-licensing

Groove will take part in a regulation-focused panel at SiGMA Summit Asia, with CEO Yahale Meltzer attending and Business Development Director Giusy Campo speaking on the session titled “Jurisdiction Jungle: Who Rules Asia’s iGaming Empire?”.

According to the company, the panel will examine whether Asian licensing regimes can hold up under enforcement, cross-border scrutiny, banking pressure and rising compliance requirements. Topics slated for discussion include audit readiness, payment disruption, tax enforcement, evolving AML expectations and geopolitical shifts.

Giusy Campo, Business Development Director at Groove, said: “The conversation in Asia has matured significantly. Operators are no longer asking just about content volume or time-to-market. They are asking about structural resilience: how a platform handles a studio API failure without impacting player experience, what the data sovereignty protocols are, and whether the compliance architecture is defensive or reactive|”

Campo added: “In a region where banking pressure and regulatory expectations shift rapidly, the platforms that survive will be the ones that built integrity into their stack from the first line of code, not the ones scrambling to patch it in later.” Meltzer said: “The ‘Jurisdiction Jungle’ is not a metaphor for growth; it is a reality for every operator trying to scale across Asia’s fragmented regulatory landscape.” He added: “The mistake some make is treating compliance as a hurdle to clear. We treat it as a design constraint from day one. If your architecture is not built to generate verifiable, immutable audit trails for every transaction, you are not actually ready for Asia’s top tier. Our presence at SiGMA Summit Asia is about having serious conversations with operators who understand that trade-off.”

Groove said it has published a White Paper on navigating the Asian iGaming market, available on its website, and positioned its SiGMA Summit Asia attendance as part of a broader push in Asia following recent expansion moves into LatAm and Africa.
