Belatra unveils Winter Thunder title
Belatra Games, the specialist online slots developer, has unveiled its festive treat this holiday season, Winter Thunder.
Swapping the arid US plains for a wintery wonderland, Winter Thunder carries players into an enchanting atmosphere surrounded by snow-covered canyons and frosty forests. Players will be joined in the wilderness by lynxes, eagles, bears, and, the star of the show, the white wolf. This represents the Wild symbol replacing symbols and covering two reel positions. If only part of the symbol lands, the reel keeps turning until it is completed.
A mountain symbol represents the Scatter and will launch free games when at least three are uncovered on the reels. The number of free spins is equal to the total of the original Scatter symbols added to the corresponding symbols at the bottom. During the round, additional free spins can be accrued, enhancing the chance of a win – the maximum is 40. The Global Multiplier equals the total number of bonus spins, and every win during the free rounds is multiplied by the total displayed.
Despite the frosty surroundings, there is a Hot Mode in-play that activates when five Scatter symbols hit. The maximum win potential is 12000x the bet.
Six or more credit symbols uncovered in the main game will bring players into the Hold-and-Win Bonus that has three wintery mini-reel spins. Credit symbols determine the total win and there are four types, including credit, bonus, extra bonus and empty.
The credit symbol returns a win, the bonus one will multiply the win by a total ranging from 20x to 100x and the extra will return a mini, minor, major, or grand extra bonus. A special element in the Hold-and-Win Bonus is the lightning strike, which has the power to electrify one of the reels and trigger an additional spin to increase returns. Players have the option to increase their stake with the Bet+100% feature, which will amplify the frequency of prize games and the Hold-and-Win bonus landing. New release adds an expanding 3x4x4x4x3 grid, up to 1,194 ways to win, and a 5,000x max win, the studio says.
Booming Games has launched Mr. Oinkster’s Power Hit, the latest entry in its Mr Oinkster slot series.
The company said the game uses a 3x4x4x4x3 grid that can expand to 3x6x6x6x3, offering between 576 and 1,194 ways to win. Booming Games also stated the title has a maximum win potential of 5,000x.
According to the studio, COLLECT symbols on reels one and five gather coin values across all reels, with Reel Frenzy multipliers ranging from 2x to 5x. The game also includes progressive prizes that can be boosted by special symbols in the base game, as well as Second Chance respins.
Booming Games said three Scatter symbols trigger 10 Free Spins, where “sticky nudging collectors” expand and return to collect additional coin values. During Free Spins, prize pots are boosted to maximum values, alongside more frequent collects and Reel Frenzy triggers.
