Sheriffs face off with zombies in Kalamba Games’ Megaways™ Duel Of The Dead
Kalamba Games has blended two popular themes with mass media appeal in its latest release Megaways™ Duel Of The Dead, which sees a courageous sheriff battling with zombies.
Played across six reels, the slot integrates the fan favourite Megaways™ mechanic into its gameplay, allowing the reels to continually change size and offer up to 84,035 winning ways. Symbols depict wild-west characters that must form a matching combination across these reels to award a win.
A sheriff symbol is present on the first reel and when landed, all others except the sheriff and bonus turn into zombies, triggering the Zombies Go Wild feature. Here, the sheriff will aim and shoot at the zombies, and each landed shot will turn into a wild symbol with an incrementally increasing multiplier attached.
Triggered randomly, these wilds can be upgraded further via the Duel mechanic. A pistol-wielding zombie will appear on the sixth reel and can be shot by the sheriff, up to three additional multiplier wilds will be added to the game board each time the zombie is shot, continuing until he hits the sheriff, and the symbol is treated as wild for any resulting payout.
In the free spins round, shots fired during the Zombies Go Wild or Duel feature are collected and reused in subsequent triggers of these features within the bonus. This creates a crescendo of excitement where the number and size of multiplier wilds are continually increased.
Megaways™ Duel Of The Dead is the latest Kalamba Games release to make use of the popular Megaways™ mechanic following its recent hit 9 Blazing Cashpots Megaways™. The title’s use of innovative mechanics highlights the provider’s ambition of delivering unparalleled engagement and entertainment throughout the year.
Alex Cohen, COO and Co-Founder at Kalamba Games, said: “Megaways™ Duel Of The Dead is filled with suspense not only because of its aesthetics but also thanks to the multiple features that can trigger in tandem with each other and their ability to deliver huge wins for players.
“The title is a true passion project, bringing together cell-shaded visuals via our talented team of designers, both diegetic and non-diegetic sounds from the music, zombies and rattling prison cells that work together to provide unmatched immersion. The title’s overall presentation, feature-rich gameplay and innovative mechanics are sure to be a hit among players.”

What Does a Win Feel Like? WinSpirit Is Trying to Find Out
As competition among online casino operators increasingly centers on bonus size and game catalogs, WinSpirit is testing a different kind of engagement. The company has launched Euphoria Lab, a project built around an unusual premise for the industry: asking players not about payouts, but about feelings.
Players are invited to share the emotions, memories, and scents they connect with winning. Some describe it as the smell of rain before a summer storm, others mention morning coffee, sea breeze, or the charge in the air right before a result is announced.
The initiative sits within WinSpirit’s summer campaign, but its ambition reaches beyond typical promotions or gameplay mechanics. Euphoria Lab turns attention to the emotional side of play — the moments that stay with players long after a session ends.
Every response collected becomes part of a larger creative project WinSpirit intends to unveil later this year. The company has kept the details under wraps, saying only that the concept moves in a direction rarely seen in the online casino space.
Rather than the usual focus on numbers, odds, or promotions, Euphoria Lab asks a simpler question: not what a win pays out, but what it feels like.
The project is live now, with players across several markets already contributing their answers — a growing, community-shaped experiment with no fixed endpoint yet.
