Yggdrasil and Bulletproof Games light the fires in its new hit Tempered Steel

Yggdrasil and Bulletproof Games are hard at work forging fantastic gaming experiences in its latest release, Tempered Steel.

The 5×3, 20 payline slot is set in a fearsome forge, where a blacksmith is busy pounding out wins for players brave enough to handle the heat of his workshop.

During base gameplay, the blacksmith acts as a wild, while at random points his tools may heat up and drop into the barrel, causing steam to rise and a random modifier appear. This triggers either the Lock and Spin, Bonus Frenzy, or Forge Your Weapon features.

Lock and Spin will lock in any stacked wilds lock into place, and a respin occur. If any reel remains unlocked, an extra spin will be awarded.

The Bonus Frenzy feature adds more scatter symbols to the reels, increasing the chances of triggering the free spins. These are set on fire as they pass the reels.

Forge Your Weapon sees players smash through rock three times to reveal a weapon, which will appear stacked on the reels.

If three or more bonus symbols land on the reels it will activate the free spins mode, where five forges are lit upon entering the mode. On each spin, one or more of these forges may be activated, adding a wild to the reel above.

Depending on how many scatters land, a corresponding number of wilds will be added to the reels for the duration of the feature. Wilds will move up one step per spin in the bonus, and once all forges have been extinguished and all wilds have moved out of the reel the round ends. At the end of free spins, there is a chance that the forges will be relit, and the bonus will continue.

In jurisdictions that permit it, players can also buy their way into the bonus at a cost of 100x their stake.

The African iGaming Alliance (AiA) has signed a strategic partnership with iGaming supplier SPRIBE, with SPRIBE joining the pan-African industry association as a Platinum Supplier Member.

AiA said the partnership will focus on regulatory engagement, industry research, responsible gaming initiatives, policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement aimed at strengthening regulated gaming markets across African jurisdictions.

According to AiA, the collaboration will also support efforts to promote effective regulation, combat illegal gambling, improve market channelisation and encourage evidence-based policymaking.

Neosurf has announced a partnership with Mercado Pago to expand wallet-based funding options for online betting customers in Mexico.

Under the integration, Mercado Pago wallet holders will be able to use their Mercado Pago balance to fund online betting accounts via the Neosurf wallet. Neosurf said the rollout is initially focused on the Mexican market and supports transfers to participating sports betting operators.

Pragmatic Play has launched Mahjong Wins Triple Pot, a new online slot release, the supplier said on 18th June 2026. The title introduces “golden reels” and bonus coin symbols with values of up to 100,000x.

The game uses a 4-5-5-5-4 grid with tumble mechanics. Pragmatic Play said consecutive tumble wins trigger a progressive multiplier trail that increases payouts by 2x, 3x and 5x until the end of the spin.

The supplier added that random symbols on reels 2-4 can be marked gold and then transform into a wild on the subsequent tumble if they form part of a winning combination.

Three scatter types (blue, red and purple) are collected into pots above the middle three reels and can randomly trigger a bonus with eight free spins.
