Yggdrasil and Bang Bang Games Launch YG Masters Title “Ancient Eclipse”

Online gambling content publisher Yggdrasil has launched Bang Bang Games’ first YG Masters title, Ancient Eclipse.

Since time immemorial, Eclipse has been considered as a time of power and mystery, and in this title, players harness this mystic time to capture huge wins from an ancient civilisation.

The 5×4 title sees players aim to land both elements of the Eclipse to trigger huge wins. Moon symbols that land on the reels will transform into special Golden Sun Frames, which will remain sticky on the reels until an Eclipse is triggered.

If a Moon symbol then lands in a Sun Frame, an Eclipse is triggered, causing all Sun Frames to become Wilds. The Eclipse can be retriggered, with each additional Eclipse having an increasing multiplier of 1x, for huge wins.

The Sticky Suns Free Spins mode is triggered if three Warriors land on the reels. During this mode, all Sun Frames remain sticky throughout, even after an Eclipse. Every Moon that lands not only adds a new Sun Frame, but also an extra Free Spin, for giant win potential.

Ancient Eclipse is Bang Bang Games’ debut YG Masters title, after the studio joined the programme in July 2020. The game has been deployed using Yggdrasil’s innovative GATI technology. Utilised by all YG Masters partners, this technology allows developers to employ the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to produce consistently cutting-edge content.

Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partner Programmes at Yggdrasil, said: “Our YG Masters program continues to drive innovative content to market and this is evident in Bang Bang Games’ landmark inaugural title, Ancient Eclipse.

“GATI has proven to be an enabler for our partner studios and we can’t wait to see what more comes from them.”

Frank McPolin, Managing Director at Bang Bang Games, said: “We’re delighted to launch our first game as a YG Masters partner, Ancient Eclipse. With a thrilling theme, lucrative Free Spins mode and an artfully crafted environment, we couldn’t be happier and look forward to it being rolled out across Yggdrasil’s partner network, reaching players all over the globe.”

What Does a Win Feel Like? WinSpirit Is Trying to Find Out

what-does-a-win-feel-like?-winspirit-is-trying-to-find-out

As competition among online casino operators increasingly centers on bonus size and game catalogs, WinSpirit is testing a different kind of engagement. The company has launched Euphoria Lab, a project built around an unusual premise for the industry: asking players not about payouts, but about feelings.

Players are invited to share the emotions, memories, and scents they connect with winning. Some describe it as the smell of rain before a summer storm, others mention morning coffee, sea breeze, or the charge in the air right before a result is announced.

The initiative sits within WinSpirit’s summer campaign, but its ambition reaches beyond typical promotions or gameplay mechanics. Euphoria Lab turns attention to the emotional side of play — the moments that stay with players long after a session ends.

Every response collected becomes part of a larger creative project WinSpirit intends to unveil later this year. The company has kept the details under wraps, saying only that the concept moves in a direction rarely seen in the online casino space.

Rather than the usual focus on numbers, odds, or promotions, Euphoria Lab asks a simpler question: not what a win pays out, but what it feels like.

The project is live now, with players across several markets already contributing their answers — a growing, community-shaped experiment with no fixed endpoint yet.
