Swintt, the Malta-based game developer, are releasing their most ambitious game to date in the pirate themed Sea Raiders.

With echoes of video games, Sea Raiders offers up a player journey whereby collecting special symbols unlocks new islands on an in-game map. Each island corresponds to a particular theme with a specific bonus round, effectively creating 5 games in one.

Each of the progressive meters in Sea Raiders have five milestones which in the base game trigger the respective bonus rounds – walking wilds re-spins, random wilds re-spins or stacked wilds re-spins – and once all 5 have been reached, the new island is unlocked.

The different islands correspond to the bonus round, so once a specific island has been unlocked, players are three times more likely to trigger the bonus round for that island. Three scatter symbols will also grant a lucky player the Treasure Hunt bonus round.

Making use of persistent data, player progress in Sea Raiders is saved upon exiting so players can return to the game, pick up where they left off and continue their progress in completing the map or playing in specific islands.

David Mann, Business Development Director at Swintt said of the new release: “I’ve been excited about Sea Raiders since I first heard the concept, and I’m delighted to see it being launched imminently. This is a really special title with added value for players who enjoy unlocking new slots within the same game.”

“Our studio has been delivering consistently stronger games time after time and Sea Raiders looks to be the jewel in our crown so far.”
