Yggdrasil releases first Splitz game Temple Stacks with unparalleled win potential
New mechanic offers up to 248,832 pay ways
Yggdrasil, the innovative online gaming solutions provider, has unveiled its first industry-changing Splitz title, Temple Stacks: Splitz™, offering never-before-seen win potential.
The Aztec-themed game gives players the first view of Yggdrasil’s revolutionary Splitz™ mechanic, which transforms the 3×5 slot grid into reels of infinite potential, offering up to 248,832 pay ways.
Mystery stacks can fill reels and reveal anything from three to nine stacked symbols of the same kind, adding hundreds of pay ways to the game.
Symbols take the form of tiles filled with monstrous beasts and gleaming jewels, with scatters that can also trigger respins if two land, or the potentially hugely rewarding free spins feature if three scatters hit the reels simultaneously.
As players trigger more free spins modes, more rounds are unlocked. Players must choose between Bronze, Silver, Gold or Diamond rounds, where they can select to sacrifice extra spins for the more lucrative opportunity of additional Splitz, with the Diamond round containing up to 12 symbols per stack, creating staggering win potential.
Jonas Strandman, Senior Product Strategist at Yggdrasil, said: “With our Splitz™ mechanic offering thousands of ways to win, every spin could generate huge rewards and we couldn’t be more excited to launch our first Splitz™ title. We eagerly look forward to seeing how the game is received by Yggdrasil fans across the globe.”

New Blask heatmap tracks real-time interest across World Cup 2026 nations
Blask has launched the Blask World Cup Index, a free interactive map showing daily interest across the majority of the 48 nations competing in the 2026 tournament. It runs for the duration of the competition.
Blask updates the map every 24 hours. Countries where interest towards the major football tournament grows over the previous day turn green. Countries where it fell turn red. Unchanged markets stay grey. Hover over any country for a quick snapshot, click through for a multi-day view, or follow the leaderboard of the fastest-rising and falling markets.
What the Blask World Cup Index measures
Blask World Cup Index draws from the Blask Index, Blask’s measure of iGaming search volume within a given market. On the landing page it tracks football related categories: how actively people in each country are searching for odds, match markets and other football-related content tied to the 2026 tournament.
Country cards show day-by-day trends; a daily leaderboard surfaces the daily World Cup Index and its change with the previous day. Visitors can track how interest in their country builds in the days before their team’s next match and how fast it collapses after an exit. The leaderboard shows which nation leads the index and how that position shifts with results. For operators and affiliates, the most actionable view is a market where interest is growing faster than the team’s performance would predict — the signal that precedes a volume spike.
After a 4-1 victory over Paraguay, the United States leads our World Cup Interest Index with 14.4 million demand points — more than three times ahead of second-placed Brazil (4.28 million), despite the Seleção’s global popularity. Germany sits third with 3.15 million following a 7-1 win over Curaçao, while England (2.53 million) and Egypt (2.22 million) round out the top five ahead of their opening group-stage matches.
To put the 2026 data in context, Blask has published two research reports drawing on iGaming activity across the 2018 and 2022 World Cups — one covering six European markets (UK, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy), one covering six LATAM markets.
The data shows the effect is not automatic: Germany posted positive acquisition signals at both tournaments despite group-stage exits; Peru surged +41% in 2022 without qualifying; Colombia fell 14% the same year.
Both reports include country-level APS data, cross-market patterns, and 2026 projections.

Ignition Casino: One-night Las Vegas Strip spend hits $668, up 109% since 2014
Resort fees are up 194% and Nevada’s live poker table count is down 38% since 2011, based on UNLV and Gaming Commission data cited in the report.
The cost of a one-night visit to the Las Vegas Strip has more than doubled since 2014, according to a new “Las Vegas Inflation Index” published by Ignition Casino. The report estimates a typical one-night “basket” of expenses at $667.85 in 2026 versus $319.09 in 2014, a 109.3% increase.
Ignition Casino’s basket includes the Strip average for a blackjack minimum bet, weekend one-night hotel stay, resort fee, domestic beer, bottle of water, dinner (entrée and drink), a show ticket and valet parking. In the company’s breakdown, resort fees show the steepest jump, rising from $19.43 to $48.49 (+194.5%). Other increases cited include blackjack minimum bets from $50.00 to $112.17 (+124.3%), show tickets from $82.86 to $175.91 (+112.3%), water from $3.00 to $7.00 (+133.3%), and valet parking moving from free to $40.
For poker, the report argues higher trip costs are landing alongside a smaller live product. Citing UNLV’s Center for Gaming Research and Nevada Gaming Commission Quarterly Reports, it says Nevada’s live poker table count fell from 957 in 2011 to 595 by end-2025, a 38% decline. On the Strip, the report puts active poker rooms at eight today—Aria, Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Horseshoe, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, The Venetian and Wynn—down from approximately 17 in the late 2000s.
The company also points to higher rake caps compared with 2014. It states Aria’s rake is “10% of the pot up to a maximum cap of $7 per hand,” Bellagio’s cap is $6, and the remaining Strip rooms are at $5, versus a 2014 Strip average cap of $4. Using an assumed 30 raked hands per hour, the report estimates that a $2 higher cap at cap-reaching tables equates to “an extra $60 per hour” going to the house, or $300 over a five-hour session.
At blackjack, Ignition Casino ties higher table minimums to shorter expected playtime for fixed budgets. It estimates a $500 bankroll would last about 2 hours and 22 minutes at the 2014 average minimum bet, versus about 28 minutes at the 2026 average minimum, using an approach it attributes to “casino risk analysts and quantitative mathematicians” and assuming 70 hands per hour and a blackjack standard deviation of 1.15.
