Continent 8 Technologies adds Cloudflare to its leading Cloud Connect solution
The go-to infrastructure provider for the global online gambling industry expands its product suite, offering customers connectivity to Cloudflare
Continent 8 Technologies, the award-winning provider of managed hosting, connectivity, cloud and security solutions to the global online gambling industry, has strengthened its private Cloud Connect solution via a partnership with Cloudflare.
Now, via Cloud Connect, customers can benefit from a direct, private and secure connection between Continent 8 infrastructure and cloud service provider, Cloudflare.
Cloud Connect is a leading solution that allows operators and suppliers to benefit from a secure connection via Continent 8’s private MPLS global backbone. This reduces the public attack surface and provides the highest level of reachability at the shortest “hop” between infrastructure and cloud services.
Continent 8 launched its Cloud Connect private connectivity offering more than six years ago and now provides its customers with fast, secure and resilient access to Cloudflare, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
Justin Cosnett, Chief Product Officer at Continent 8 Technologies, said: “Growing our product suite by partnering with Cloudflare enables both of us to offer customers the most secure, fast and efficient connectivity.
“It is partnerships such as this that have allowed Continent 8 to become the go-to infrastructure and cloud provider for operators and suppliers in the global online gambling industry, providing a one-stop-shop for customer needs.”
Over the past 25+ years, Continent 8 has earned an unrivalled reputation for reliable infrastructure and connectivity, innovating, developing, and providing services to support the most demanding online requirements. The addition of Cloudflare is a testament to this, expanding its Connect portfolio offering.
Edward O’Connor, Chief Technology Officer at Continent 8 Technologies, added: “Working together, Cloudflare and Continent 8 network architecture teams were able to utilise both our large global networks to identify key points of presence (POPs) where we can interface and exchange private routes for use by our customers, expanding our Cloud Connect capability.
“This is a powerful partnership between two leaders in the infrastructure space and one that allows Continent 8 to bring tremendous added value to its customers.”

What Does a Win Feel Like? WinSpirit Is Trying to Find Out
As competition among online casino operators increasingly centers on bonus size and game catalogs, WinSpirit is testing a different kind of engagement. The company has launched Euphoria Lab, a project built around an unusual premise for the industry: asking players not about payouts, but about feelings.
Players are invited to share the emotions, memories, and scents they connect with winning. Some describe it as the smell of rain before a summer storm, others mention morning coffee, sea breeze, or the charge in the air right before a result is announced.
The initiative sits within WinSpirit’s summer campaign, but its ambition reaches beyond typical promotions or gameplay mechanics. Euphoria Lab turns attention to the emotional side of play — the moments that stay with players long after a session ends.
Every response collected becomes part of a larger creative project WinSpirit intends to unveil later this year. The company has kept the details under wraps, saying only that the concept moves in a direction rarely seen in the online casino space.
Rather than the usual focus on numbers, odds, or promotions, Euphoria Lab asks a simpler question: not what a win pays out, but what it feels like.
The project is live now, with players across several markets already contributing their answers — a growing, community-shaped experiment with no fixed endpoint yet.
