Casino content developer Realistic Games is celebrating International Women’s Day at the same time as it recognises the contribution of the key women in its team, including the promotion of Alice Timson to the role of Commercial Director.

Timson assumes the role after having played a pivotal part in the company’s recent successes. 2023 saw her recognised at the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards as its Young Leader of the Year on the back of spearheading an all-female Account Management Team at Realistic, which has been instrumental in the studio’s recent transformation and commercial growth.

A characteristic of Realistic’s evolution, its Commercial and Marketing team combined is driven by an 85% female talent pool. The company’s introduction of an increased content roadmap has seen its games go live in a growing number of new, regulated markets, including Romania and the Netherlands, while new operator partnerships have continued at an equally impressive pace.

Realistic Games is proud to boast a significant female workforce across all of its departments in an industry that has traditionally been male-dominated and continues to strive to ensure that the opportunity to thrive and advance is available to all its team members.

Leila Guddoy, Head of Marketing at Realistic Games, said: “The culture at Realistic Games is one of the most enriched and forward-thinking I’ve ever experienced and it’s refreshing to work alongside an incredible group of strong female peers.

“The recent growth we’ve achieved as a team is a testament to everyone involved and with our refreshed content underpinning our efforts, I’m excited about what the future holds for us as a studio.

“It’s fitting that we announce the promotion of a key woman in the business on IWD and we are all encouraged by an environment which can see such rapid progression reward the dedication to taking Realistic forward.”
