BMM Testlabs Welcomes AISES Intern for Summer 2023
BMM Testlabs, the worldߣs original gaming test lab and product certification consultancy, is pleased to welcome Kordell Schrock as a paid summer intern, powered through BMMߣs Next Generation Initiative and the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES). This partnership between BMM and AISES promotes opportunities for indigenous students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs to work in a gaming laboratory and receive hands-on experience alongside BMMߣs team of expert test engineers.
Kordell Schrock, Engineering Intern, commented,:I am grateful for the opportunity to gain valuable and memorable work experience at BMMߣs Las Vegas headquarters this summer. When I joined my universityߣs STEM Scholars learning community my top goal was to join the workforce in the gaming industry. I even identified BMM Testlabs as my dream internship when I created my first individualized development plan in May 2019. I look forward to performing statistical analysis of game probabilities, reviewing system source code, and more with BMMߣs expert team of test engineers.
Schrock is a descendant of the Meskwaki Nation (Sac and Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa), and he is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science with a minor in Data Science from Iowa State University. He has previous internship experience with Workday, the National Security Agency (NSA), and a research fellowship at Stanford University. The paid summer internship at BMM Testlabs will last for a duration of ten weeks, beginning on June 1, 2023.
