PUBG MOBILE Reveals Esports Partnership Program – PUBG MOBILE Super League
PUBG MOBILE has officially unveiled its first-ever esports partnership program, the PUBG MOBILE Partnership Program, which will help pro teams grow their competitiveness, popularity, and contribution to the PUBG MOBILE ecosystem. The program will kick off in Southeast Asia, with PMSL SEA. With guaranteed slots for PMPL and PMSL SEA, fans and teams alike will benefit from this new chapter in PUBG MOBILE Esports. PMSL SEA will kick off in March with a Spring Season, with the Fall Season taking place in August.
The PMSL will bring together top pro teams in each region, increasing opportunities for pro players and bringing more amazing action to fans. Teams that join the PMSL will grow together as official partners of PUBG MOBILE, increasing their exposure to fans and building their competitive performance. League partnership also comes with guaranteed slots in a team’s respective PMPL and PMSL region.
Through this close collaboration between partner teams, PUBG MOBILE and league partners, the PUBG MOBILE Partnership Program will continue to grow the esports ecosystem of each region, taking PUBG MOBILE Esports to the next level!
Southeast Asia will now feature a PMSL league, building on its storied history as the first region that hosted PMPL and the popularity of esports in the region, where nearly two-thirds of gamers in Greater Southeast Asia engage with esports. The PMSL SEA will substitute the PMPL SEA championship, becoming the top layer of the PMPL. The top teams of PMPL will be promoted to PMSL, playing in both PMPL and PMSL. Regardless of the PMPL placement, all teams in the Partnership Program will have a fixed slot in PMSL. There will be two seasons each year, a Spring and Fall Season. Based on their performance in both seasons of the PMPL and PMSL, the top teams will be promoted to PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC).
“We’re incredibly excited to kick off this new chapter in PUBG MOBILE Esports by launching the PUBG MOBILE Partnership Program,” said James Yang, Director of PUBG MOBILE Global Esports. “We have so many amazing teams across the world that have been a huge part of what makes PUBG MOBILE successful, and we now have the opportunity to work even closer with them. Through the Partnership Program and the respective PMSL, teams, players and fans will have a greatly improved experience as the opportunities pro teams can provide continue to grow.”
With all these changes fans won’t have to wait long for PMPL action, as PMPL SEA begins on February 15th! Teams from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and the SEA Wild Card (Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia and Singapore) will all kick off their regional Spring Season this Wednesday, as they battle to qualify for the new PMSL SEA League.
