Relax Gaming debuts in Colombia with major MegApuestas launch
Relax Gaming, the igaming aggregator and supplier of unique content, has agreed a deal to supply the operator MegApuestas with its portfolio of tier-one games, making the provider’s titles available in the Colombian market for the first time.
The deal will see MegApuestas benefit initially from Relax’s proprietary content, taking its full portfolio live, including its 94% RTP range, with blockbuster hits including Temple Tumble, Money Train 2 and Banana Town.
Relax’s South American debut comes as the online casino vertical continues to grow in popularity in Colombia, which has given way to unprecedented growth in recent years.
As one of Latin America’s leading regulated iGaming markets, Relax’s debut in Colombia marks a significant milestone in the tier one provider’s expansion roadmap.
With multiple operators set to reap these rewards, the supplier is expected to announce numerous additional Colombia-based partnerships in the near future.
Commenting on its Colombian debut, Alexia Smilovic Rønde, Chief Regulatory Officer at Relax said: “We’re delighted to have entered the LatAm market through Colombia. The high pace at which we’re expanding globally is deeply encouraging, especially with this new jurisdiction that boasts such a high regulatory profile.
“We’ve effectively capitalised on previous jurisdictional experience to achieve an extremely fast time to market. We’ll certainly keep a close eye on regional regulatory developments to continue our successful journey in this part of the world.”
Nadiya Attard, Chief Commercial Offer at Relax, added: “The Colombian online gaming market was one of the first Latin American markets to thoroughly regulate online gambling and has been progressing steadily every year. It’s with great pride that we enter the market with the operating powerhouse MegApuestas.
“Their longstanding reputation and local demand will ensure Relax Gaming gets off to an exceptional start in this extremely promising market. We look forward to launching our proprietary content within Colombia with leading titles, and the business growth to come.”
Daniela Asaftei, Head of CRM MegApuesta, said: “We couldn’t be happier to introduce Relax’s portfolio to our Colombian players and are delighted that they chose MegApuesta for their entrance into Latin America.
“We’re certain Relax’s games will provide our players with an entirely new level of entertainment, and we can’t wait to see how they react when these are made available to them.”
Established as one of the industry’s leading B2B suppliers, Relax Gaming was recently named the Best Mobile Gaming Software Provider at the prestigious EGR B2B Awards and the Best Game Provider at the AskGamblers Awards. On top of that, the company has consistently enjoyed myriad other industry awards and nominations this year.
In total, Relax Gaming provides more than 4,000 online casino games, from its high-performing proprietary slots to a significant, varied library of content from hand-picked third-party studios via its partnership programme
