PADDY POWER IMAGINES A WORLD WHERE RACING FANS BEHAVED LIKE FOOTBALL FANATICS
talkSPORT’s Adrian Durham and AFTV’s Ty apply football fan clichés to the world of racing
With Cheltenham fever sweeping the nation, cheeky Irish bookie Paddy Power has released its latest video, imagining a world where racing punters act like poorly behaved football fans.
Starring Adrian Durham from talkSPORT and AFTV’s Ty, the clip breaks down common football fanatic traits, translating it directly to the racing world – opening with a group of racegoers chanting “You’re sh*t ahhhh!” at a horse and jockey.
Social media ‘ITKs’ are then seen using a freight tracker to closely monitor the movements of Willie Mullins’ horses in typical Deadline Day fashion, while Ty pulls out some cracking excuses to blame his horse’s performance the crowd being “a bit too loud for my horse,” and the sun being in his eyes.
Durham hosts his usual talkSPORT phone-in show to hear a furious fan demand Henry de Bromhead be sacked after a run of recent poor performances, and failing to make the top four in the 2020 Grand National, despite there not being a race that year.
Godolphin’s recent net spend and ‘expected wins’ (or xW) are also questioned by callers.
Fights also break out in the stands, as a late charge from the horse in blue takes the win away from a despairing set of yellow and red fans.
The widely mocked keyboard warrior is also depicted in the parody video, cleverly renaming ‘Aintree’ to ‘Emptree’ after spotting an image of an empty stand on a day with two grade ones on the card.
And, that’s all before bragging to his mum that he’s spent his day well, taking a horse from Dundalk to the Melbourne Cup on the latest Horse Racing Manager 2022.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: “Football fans have a very particular way of behaving, so we thought it would be fun to imagine a world where a day at the races felt the same way.
“And let’s be honest, if racing punters had the same attitude as football fanantics, it would only take one bad race here or there before the hashtags were out, calling for the jockeys and trainers to be sacked!
“Despite the feistier than usual scenes on course, no horses were harmed in the making of this video – all punters were simply foaling about.”

Aviatrix Launches New Loot Boxes to Deepen Progression and Reward Paths
Aviatrix has launched a new Loot Box feature for its premier crash game, presenting collectible rewards, free bets, and progression bonuses aimed at boosting long-term player engagement.
Loot Boxes are granted through a daily rewards mechanism, with players obtaining them according to their in-game actions and advancement. Every box holds a variety of rewards, such as aircraft skins, complimentary bets, and aviation experience points.
The feature enhances Aviatrix’s developing loyalty system, providing players with fresh options to personalize their aircraft and earn rewards through continuous engagement.
Anastasia Rimskaya, Chief Account Officer at Aviatrix, said: “Loot Boxes are part of our wider vision for Aviatrix as a connected multi-game universe. As we expand our iGaming Metaverse, features like Loot Boxes add another meaningful layer to how players build their profile, customise their aircraft and earn rewards across the ecosystem.”
Unveiled in February, the Aviatrix iGaming Metaverse signifies the supplier’s shift from a standalone crash game to an integrated multi-title ecosystem.
Starting with the imminent debut of Aviatrix Second Chance and continuing with upcoming titles like Aviatrix Fruits and Aviatrix Mines, every game will utilize a single integrated player profile, progression system, and rewards and achievements framework.
