The awards’ online voting process opened on the 14th of March, with the industry invited to vote online up until April 10th.

Totaling 36 nomination categories, the awards are considered the leading accolade in the region, established to provide an independent, fair, and representative awards event that recognizes significant achievements across the Baltic and Scandinavian gaming industries.

To provide a fully transparent process, the final winners of each shortlist category will be decided by a special voting session held during the day of the conference.

Starting 2022, the return of the boutique-style in-person meetup is also bringing a new format that will allow more interaction among the attending delegates.

Among the already confirmed sponsors of the event, you can find Tom Horn Gaming and Nordic Gambling.

The #hipthers have prepared multiple types of delegate passes that will accommodate the guest’s needs. You can check out the pass types and register on the following link: https://hipther.com/events/regvilnius2022/

Sustainable future

While recycling and reusing certain materials at the conferences are important steps towards achieving sustainability, the team is also sending a clear message about how conference organizers can directly impact the conservation of the planet’s ecosystem and biodiversity.

The events hosted by the #hipthers have always been applauded by the participants, and one of the strong points was the attention to the smallest details. Among the small details are the coffee breaks and complimentary buffet lunch.

While some might still argue, meat-eating is one of the biggest environmental hazards facing our planet. The team has switched to fully plant-based menus in 2020 and will continue this path with the return of the in-person conference. The initiative has the full support of the venues in which the conferences are hosted and is considered to be a great idea by hotel managers who are already working on delicious plant-based meals for the delegates to enjoy in Prague, Vilnius, Berlin, Milan, and Budapest.

Hybrid time

While possible travel restrictions might still occur in 2022, all the conferences will also be available in the virtual format for industry professionals to be up to date with the content and starting 2022 can additionally be accessed in the hiptherverse.

Additionally, make sure to keep an eye on the European Gaming Quarterly Meetups, which also offer in-person and virtual opportunities to stay up to date and network through 2022. Read the recent updates about events happening in Berlin and Milan here.
