Esports Players League (ESPL), the global amateur esports tournament and platform provider, and Froyo Games, a Gamified Finance (GameFi) platform confirmed recently on entering into an agreement that is targeted to expand and facilitate growth for both platforms in the cryptocurrency and esports ecosystem.

Froyo Games is a decentralised GameFi platform that enables existing gaming and esports ecosystems to transition to the open metaverse on Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain. As a platform, it’ll allow game developers, publishers and esports operators to collaborate, launch and engage with the community through Play-to-Earn (P2E) games.

“Think of it like Steam or Epic Games; a home for your blockchain games and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). We want to capitalise on P2E games in the Metaverse with the support of gamers, publishers, and developers that are the lifeline of sustaining the community into the future,” mentioned 0xFroyo, Froyo Games.

Stephanie Kuan, ESPL’s Chief Operating Officer says “we don’t plan to make this a one-off stimulus check but instead a relationship that can keep everyone engaged through contents, partnerships, and tournaments that will help both ESPL and Froyo Games to grow and prosper together.”

This partnership reflects the already existing work that Froyo Games has completed with ESPL’s recent projects involving major cryptocurrency entities such as Luno and Monstax in December 2021.
