The esports media holding company and analytical agency extended an official agreement regarding the collaboration within WePlay Esports tournaments, broadcasts, and pilot projects in 2022.

WePlay Holding is currently working on a number of new projects, such as the Russian-language broadcast of the BLAST Premier 2021/22. The collaboration implies joint product development and the provision of audience analytics services by the agency. The agreement will last until the end of 2022 and could be re-signed after its expiration.

“This collaboration is not just a data and analytics partnership. Together, we will seek, create, and implement new cases, standards, and rules for the industry. We strive to produce tools for effective brand engagement with audiences” says Valentyn Shevchenko, head of business development at WePlay Esports.

“Our partnership with WePlay Holding during the WePlay AniMajor live streams has helped develop a competitive spirit not only among the players but also among the viewers. Esports Charts does not stop there and continues to help organizers achieve their business goals. As part of the continued cooperation, in addition to analytics, we are focused on creating products that will help to better understand what viewers like and how to keep their attention while watching events, says Artyom Odintsov, CEO of Esports Charts.

“We’re aiming to develop the companies into two directions. The first is a new approach to collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data about the audience of not only esports but digital sports in general. The second direction is the creation of technological products for a global audience of content creators and distributors. We are glad to be working to achieve these goals together with Esports Charts, says Rostyslav Salata, head of product at WePlay Esports.

WePlay Holding and Esports Charts have a years-long history of fruitful cooperation. The analytical agency provided its services to the media holding company during WePlay Esports tournaments in 2019-2021, such as the WePlay Academy League and WePlay AniMajor. The new agreement will help companies work on joint products and solutions for the esports industry.
