Spribe strikes Romania deal with Superbet

Developer’s blockbuster Turbo Game, Aviator, now live exclusively at tier one sportsbook operator for a limited period of time before hitting the wider market
Spribe, the innovative casino game developer renowned for its popular Turbo Game series, has entered the Romania market for the very first time after signing a deal to provide its content to tier one sportsbook and casino operator, Superbet.
Under the partnership, Superbet has exclusivity on Spribe’s blockbuster Turbo Game, Aviator, for a limited period of time. The game has been live for just a few days and is already breaking records with more than 350 players accessing the game at peak times.
Spribe’s Turbo Games combine elements of video games and social media with the ability to place bets and wagers for a truly fun and entertaining player experience. This has seen Spribe become one of the most in-demand studios since launching in 2018.
Most recently Spribe has secured prestigious licences from the Great Britain Gambling Commission, the Malta Gaming Authority and has a Romanian Class 2 License, allowing it to enter more regulated markets than ever before and add more big-name operators to its growing roster of partners.
The partnership with Superbet comes just weeks after Spribe entered into a similar deal with Sisal, allowing the Italy-facing online sportsbook and casino giant to offer Aviator on an exclusive basis before it is made available network wide later this year.
David Natroshvili, Managing Partner at Spribe, said: “As we continue to expand in regulated markets across Europe we are keen to enter exclusivity deals with the biggest operators and brands in each market, allowing them to offer their players never seen before content ahead of their rivals.
“These partnerships also prove the quality and calibre of our Turbo Games and we are thrilled to see Aviator land in the Superbet game lobby. It has already surpassed all performance expectations and the data suggests it will only become more popular as players become familiar with the game.”
Nicholas Yu, Live Casino & Gaming Content Manager at Superbet, said: “Aviator has blown us away with how is has performed, becoming one of our most popular titles in a very short space of time. It shows there is tremendous appetite for innovative content that offers different game formats.
“Congratulations to the Spribe team for developing such an incredible game, and we look forward to working more closely together over the coming months.”

Ukraine’s PlayCity Begins Issuing Licenses to Gambling Operators

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution on licensing conditions in the gambling sector, which allows the state agency PlayCity to begin issuing licenses to gambling organisers and confirming previously issued ones.
“As a result, this will generate almost UAH 50 million (1.028.956,00 Euro) in additional revenues to the state budget from license fees in the near future,” PlayCity reported on Telegram.
It is noted that to obtain a license, impeccable business reputation, lack of ties with the aggressor state and implementation of all necessary mechanisms for responsible gaming are required.
PlayCity clarified that such requirements apply to both those who are only applying for a license and current licensees. Current licensees have two months to submit documents to PlayCity on compliance with the requirements.
The message emphasises that if the requirements are not met, sanctions in the form of fines or termination of the license may be applied to the organisers of gambling.
“The state will direct additional budget revenues to strengthen defense capabilities, in particular, to purchase drones for the Defense Forces,” PlayCity added.
