GAN Launches New Simulated Internet Sports Betting

GAN Limited, a leading business-to-business supplier of internet gaming software-as-a-service solutions primarily to the U.S. land-based casino industry, announced the launch of a simulated Internet sports betting experience for an existing major midwestern region retail casino operator client and available at PlayJACK.com.

Available online, simulated sports betting represents a material extension of GAN’s current Simulated Gaming product and leverages the existing technical integration between GAN’s GameSTACK enterprise software platform, alongside sports betting technology partner Kambi.

GAN’s retail casino operator clients of Simulated Gaming can now seek to gain an advantage previously only enjoyed by major Daily Fantasy Sports operators by acquiring future sports gamblers online today, at a lower marketing cost than the expected cost tomorrow, once the real money regulated sports betting market commences. Equipped with this ‘Industrial strength’ simulated sports wagering experience, GAN clients can now appeal to and engage online with the young-to-middle-aged male sports gambler who sits at the center of the Internet sports gambling consumer demographic and future Internet sports betting revenue opportunity.

Management anticipates the addition of simulated sports betting to accelerate sales of Simulated Gaming to additional U.S. retail casino operators. St8 has extended its partnership with TonyBet into Alberta, expanding their Canada footprint following an earlier launch in Ontario this year.

Under the expanded agreement, TonyBet will use St8’s game aggregation platform through a single API integration. St8 said this provides access to its wider catalogue of casino content for players in Alberta.

St8 said the Alberta rollout follows its newly acquired registration to operate in the province as an iGaming Services Supplier, allowing it to provide aggregation services to licensed operators in the market. The company said its platform connects partners to more than 200 game providers via a single API.

IGT announced that its subsidiary, IGT Canada Solutions Limited (IGT), signed an agreement with Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) to supply 720 additional Sierra27 video lottery terminals (VLTs) in 2026. The agreement strengthens IGT’s position as a leading VLT supplier in Canada and marks the second consecutive year that IGT has been selected through WCLC’s competitive VLT procurement process.
