FSB appoints Susan Ball to board as Non-Executive Director

Former Playtech and Kambi board member and Kindred CFO joins award-winning sportsbook and casino platform provider

Award-winning platform provider FSB has appointed highly experienced industry executive Susan Ball to its board as it continues to strengthen its senior team and expand its presence across emerging and existing markets.

FSB’s new Non-Executive Director brings many years of board-level gaming and sports betting industry experience to the company with roles at Playtech, Kambi, Kindred and Praesepe respectively. Ball most recently spent time on Playtech’s board chairing its audit committee and as a member of its risk and compliance, remuneration and nominations committees.

She previously served for four years on the board of sports betting technology supplier Kambi, was Chief Financial Officer of Stockholm-listed operator Unibet (now Kindred Group) between 2002 and 2007 and was finance chief for gambling business Praesepe.

Ball will sit on FSB’s board in an advisory capacity and work closely with CEO Dave McDowell and his senior management team to guide the business during a period of planned rapid growth and expansion across new and established markets including Africa, Latin America and the US.

Her appointment comes hot on the heels of several other senior FSB recruits in 2020 including new Chief Financial Officer Andrew Bowen (ACA) and new Business Development Director Rob Wheeler, who will lead the company’s sales team as it extends its scope and influence across the industry following significant capital investment from Clairvest Group in mid-2019.

RubyPlay has launched its casino games with Betnacional in Brazil, extending its reach in the country’s regulated iGaming market. The rollout was announced on 22nd July 2026 and involves Flutter-owned Betnacional via Flutter Brazil.

According to the companies, the partnership was facilitated by Flutter Brazil, the Brazilian arm of Flutter Entertainment formed following its acquisition of NSX Group, the creators of Betnacional.

Betnacional is now live with a selection of RubyPlay Studio titles including Brilliant Gems and Gummy Giga Match®. The operator has also added Koala Games content, including Voltage Blitz® Zeus Up and other releases from the Voltage Blitz® series.

Deal adds DEGEN’s full current catalogue to Superbet, with future slot releases planned for rollout.

DEGEN Studios has launched its games with Superbet in Brazil, making the studio’s full existing catalogue available to the operator’s players, with future releases also set to be added.

Superbet is the leading commercial brand of Super Technologies and is described by the company as a top-three ranked operator in Brazil. The rollout positions DEGEN’s current and upcoming titles within Superbet’s casino offering in the market.

Titles included in the launch include Plague City. DEGEN also flagged upcoming title Howl N’ Huff as part of its planned content roadmap for Superbet.

Gambling Zone has launched the Gambling Zone Casino Comparison Tool, a new feature aimed at helping UK players compare online casinos in one place.
